2011 what a bollicks of a year.

February.
Had a miscarriage, wee man spent a night in hospital with bad chest infection, big son moved to Australia and kicked the husband out again, a leopard doesn't change his spots no matter how hard he tries to hide them.

March
My sister, aged 39, spends a couple of days in hospital with suspected clot in the lungs. She has been a bit breathless since a bad cold after Christmas. X ray comes back clear apart from a tiny dot that looks like an infection. Told to take antibiotics and that she would be x rayed again in 6 to 8 weeks to make sure it had cleared up.

April

Sunday a week ago, sister goes to hospital as her breathing is very bad and is diagnosed with pnemonia. On the Tuesday she is much worse and they sedate her to put her on the ventilator to help with her breathing, give her body a break and let the antibiotics work. Grand says she, see you in a couple of days. Serious downhill from there on with us being told on Friday that she has cancer in the liver, in her bone and what they thought was pnemonia is more likely a form of cancer but regardless her lungs will not support her. What do you (the family) want to do? We buried her today........

Ach Mario, what do you do but keep going, I just dont know how much my poor mother can take. Its only a year past at Christmas that we buried my brother.

I so wanted to get on here last week to talk to you lot but kept locking myself out. Was terrified of reaching for the bottle and being an added burden to the family. TG for small mercies.
