Funnily enough, I was following the Royal Wedding on the telly and the phones only stopped ringing as the Royal Family arrived at Westminster Abbey. Amazingly enough, except for a couple of calls during that incredibly boring sermon, they stopped until the newlyweds left the Abbey. I do like seeing this sort of thing. Two young people obviously in love and starting a new life together.
BTW, some of the hats were pure shite but this one would have sparked some interest.



Note that it was actually worn to a Royal Ascot horse racing event. :shocked:

Hats were inspiring --NOT.
I wonder if they are all going to get shit faced tonight. I do hope not.
My Grandchildren watched and thought the best bit was where they saw where their Grandma finished the Marathon on the Mall and they saw the actual place

Well, I have tomorrow off from the store but not from house cleaning etc.

As for the wedding and the various outfits, hats, etc. I think it was Beatrice's hat that was the weirdest "hat" that I have ever seen. And her sister's outfit was horrible. Camilla was her usual drab self and although Princess Anne's outfit was colourful, I really can't stand that horrible hairdo that she's had for about a century now.

Enough of the criticism. I loved Kate's dress. It was the perfect combination of classic and modern and after reading about the fabrics and the lace, etc that it was made from, I think it was a stellar choice. Both she and William looked so very happy. I hope that their life together will be as happy as this day was.

Am off to walk the dogger and then to bed. Sorry I've not been posting as much lately but I don't have access to MWO at the store and even if I did, I defo don't have time to post or even read the threads.
