The first two (I have two batches) argued about everything and got into punch ups till about the age of 13-14. The second batch get on much better but have had two punch ups, one where I called the cops because they were wrecking the house(not somuch each other) they were 16 and 17 then. None of them argue/fight anymore and they are the best of friends. Correction they argue about philophical points of view at the dinner table, but thats fine by me.

Mine carried on yesterday like - I cant begin to describe it - their dad read them the riot act last night, whatever that is and today they were good as gold. The difference it makes to my day is incredible and I know I shouldnt let it get me so much but cheeses twice it does!

Happs dont worry too much as long as they make up after each row, its probably a learning curve for them in how to handle confrontation; differing points of view; sharing; anger; all those things issues that need to ironed out before they leave the nest. I fought like a tiger with my older sister (hair pulling, punching the whole lot). We are the best of friends!!!! Poor mum used to despair. Dad had this one line that seemed to take the heat out of fights: "Fight on, I hate peace". When he said this quietly and calmly, we just stopped in our tracks and sanity prevailed. If you get too upset by it, maybe let your hubby do the sorting out.

Yep Happs, I draw on my memories of what I did, got up to etc. when I was growing up (come to think of it I am still in that process). I was in all honesty much more of a handful than any of my kids...its a wonder I got through it in one piece:H:goodjob:

Well folks, as promised to my lovely albeit spoiled little Staffy, am orf into the day for a long walk. The frost is thick on the ground here this morning, the sun is shining magnificently and all is well in my world, I sincerely hope that it is like that in your world also. Love youse all xx
