Raggsy - when are you off on your next adventure?

Vroooom. Back to the great outdoors.
Hey, let's all go to Techies new place for an AF flatwarming!!

Fly up to Cairns this coming Sunday morning 8th, then get a midnight flight Cairns to Palau.

Come back 16th May, and mooch round Cairns and Daintree for 3 days then fly back home on Jetstar flight JQ 957 on Friday 20th May.
Don't know whether to take the big camera and lenses or just take the little one. I'm also going to have a crack at some underwater photography.
Have just started to sort out what I'm going to take......... I ALWAYS tend to take too bloody much.

And here's apiccy of my cute new tropical wetsuit. with half length back zipper and cute scrollwork on the arms and bodice.......... reckon I could've worn that to THE wedding... if I'd been invited.

Having read your post about the boy being grounded for being dis-respectful, I can only applaud your actions. Bridge: this is a boy that needs more boundaries rather than fewer. You are doing good.

If your flatmate is doing the same, than I can only suggest that (like me) we bring it on ourselves! :H:H My big row with Mr B last week was after the session about boundaries. What I realised afterwards was that my attempt to establish them was a bit wishy-washy. It left him (Mr B) a bit confused about what I wanted, when really I should have been more direct and specific. As in: "I really like steamed carrots and broccoli" as opposed to " Steamed vegies are good"

As for the cats and dogs, well I reckon you should just shut them outside for the night!!!
Well, your group gropers are right.
And I'm going to lock them ALL out tonight.
I have always been 'easy going' you see...except now I think that's a lazy cop out, and I shouldn't double think myself so much...and as someone once said to me 'people will abuse you to the exact extent that you allow them to'
I don't believe that strictly. There are some evolved folk out there that don't take advantage, even when they can, but they are the minority.
Now see this silly little Bin Laden prick.....no boundaries......tonight I'm going to present that to the boy as an analogy.................clean up your room, or some one will be along presently to blow you out of your fecking cave.......see how that works....????

Proparty Chief posted a couple of hours "praise allah" but I didn't twig.

Just saw President's address on Ch 7.
Wonder if Pakistan will be in deeper shit over this.

Wonder what will happen now? A new leader, and continuing terrorism most likely.

I can only hope that the families and friends of the victims of 9/11 can now achieve some sense of closure. There are lots of adjectives to describe how I feel right now but I guess 'happy' isn't one of them. 'Apprehensive' is probably the best I can come up with.

Raggsy - your wetsuit rocks! And so does your oh-so-seriously-white carpet. How are those dogs?

Well, I guess from my posts my feelings are the same.

Doggies back home. Have just burned a dvd of doggy pictures I took and will post to them in about 20 minutes.
NEVER EVER buy white carpet! When I get back from Palau I'm taking myself to Harveys to buy a Reggie style steam mop for the (sob sob) pale flooring that goes with the carpet. This has however , shown me how quickly my floors get grungy.
