Well, the solicitor's appointment went well. In the nicest possible way, I can screw my husband financially. I cancelled the interview as this job would have been full time plus over-time. Basically, the family court would not expect me to go back to work full-time as I am the majority carer for our son and have not worked full time for ages. I have been advised to look for a secure part time job and to continue studying.
Husband's still pleading his innocence and wants to work things out. I have suggessted counselling but he won't go. I have just told him about the defination of insanity being "doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result." With nothing new to bring to the relationship and refusing to go for counselling then things will fall back into their usual pattern and nothing will change.
My head is already ahead of his. He thinks we can work this out and I don't. I just want to move on and make my new life.
He's away from Sunday until Friday so I have agreed not to instruct the solicitor until we have spoken when he gets back.
Anyway, I have college this evening and it's stepped up yet another notch so I'm going to get some studying done this arvo.CW

Evening all,
How are you feeling there Rags? I heard this morning that there had been advancement on the treatment front for tinnitus. I heard the word 'cure' but i can't be sure. In the UK i think, but i don't recall the detail's. I get ringing in the ears too. Luckily it doesn't bother me really. But i wonder how i'll be when i go to live in the quiet of the bush.......Anyway, hope you're feeling better.

Evening all,
Isn't it all interesting - I visited Mrs Google to check on tinnitus and scuba diving. Another half hour spent learning stuff.
I'm about to ascend the imaginary spiral staircase and hit the sack. Do any of you have mice? I seem to be somewhat surrounded. My cats are bludgers.

Thank you for the great warm welcome, it makes me feel sooooooooo good. I like it here, h'mm I'm gonna stay. After all with such a warm welcome who wouldn't? H'mmm oysters, are my favourite food, I love em to bits!! Eat em whenever I can. I love the pasta and creamy sauce too. Not sure about the lost socks day either, but yep I reckon the washing machine is going to get the blame. I've got a bit sneaky with that one, I have a "lingerie" bag, and throw all the socks in there, and most times manage to come up with pairs - HOWEVER, would you believe, not always - so what's the go?? I reckon that jolly washing machine has a mind of it's own (and I think sometimes, it may be a bit wicked!) Dance like a chicken? Can I have more information please, I love to try new things!! Thanks again Undies for the fantastic welcome, it is very much appreciated. Love and Sunshine Always to you all. Kaz xxToday, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day. ~Quoted in P.S. I Love You, compiled by H. Jackson Brown, Jr:l:l

Hey Kaza and welcome! This is a good place to hang out.
Does anyone mind if I scream...very loudly? I am at college, with other adults, who are all there through choice. But it's like being back at school. There's attention seekers, arguementative people, stroppy people, people who don't like being corrected and the list goes on.
I just want to learn, practise, revise, do my assignments, improve and pass my exams but so many people have other agendas. Luckily, I have some fantastic friends there and we just take ourselves off into a corner to do our stuff.
I am going to bed in a rather bad mood.CW

Dubbya, :l:l to you. What a hard time you are having at the moment! Reckon you are doing the right thing by just taking yourself off with your mates. Let me guess - you are mainly mature students, right??? :H Well guess who is going to do best out of this course?????
Kaza welcome!!
I had a crap night's sleep last night - tossed and turned until about 1:30 and kept waking up after that. The whole week has been like that and I'm feeling very grumpy about it. I've ben trying to practice good sleeping habits, (relax before bed, have a bath, chamomile tea etc etc) but nothing seems to be working. Grump.
However, I'm sure out favourite joy germ will be along in a few minutes, so in anticipation I am putting a smile on my dial and heading off into the day.Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
