Uhm, You can have him. I just googled him because I had never heard of him. They say personality adds to the attraction, he must have a ton of it!

Oh Geez, I finally make it to my computer and you're all asleep. I was out to see Water for Elephants for Chicks at the flicks. Pretty Good! I ate Oysters even though it's a day late.
As far as rats, I used to have a pet rat as a girl. He used to sit on my shoulder while I rode my bike around. LOVELY little guy. I just asked hubby if he wanted a pet mouse/rat, he said it was to much responsibility. I did this :H. We take care of 2 dogs and I'm sure that's more responsibility. Anywho, off to watch the dilemma.

Way to ride it out. :goodjob: I like that line. I'm going to use it next time I'm fighting with the OH and say "I'm within a bees dick of........"and I will fill in the blank on the spot depending on topic of fight.

              Good morning underwear.
In a bit of a reflective mood here today.
Topic of the day inside the Jones headspace is: At which point does 'fitting in' become 'selling out' on oneself ?

I may or may not expand upon this.

              That is all.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Morning Bridge and all to come

I think if you make it a 'loose fit', you can allow yourself a bit of wriggle room and not be forced to 'sell out'.

I may or may not be talking shit.

                There'll be more.

                  Hmmm
Trouble is (depending upon circumstances of course) sometimes even the 'loose fit' compromises us as individuals....and when we continue to do this and allow this to erode our own values, it becomes a lifestyle.....and that, as we know from bitter experience, becomes a life.
In the immortal words of Caroline Knapp 'after a while, you don't know even the most basic things about yourself'

I think I just had a moment of clarity last night, sitting there dealing with this snout in trough affair that I actually helped organise.

The lies are pivotal to the drinking.
But once the drinking stops, the lies can still persist. They're like nuclear waste.

Morning Bridge, Tawny, and all rooter's,

Bridge, in my view, there is to be NO selling out. This stance can also be viewed as 'fitting in', as then everyone is aware of where you stand. Of course, this may or may not be relevant.

                      I think you're right Mr G.

Anyway, I really do have to stop coming to the undie draw and spewing forth whatever is circulating in my shrunken frontal lobe that particular nanosecond. Dreadful habit I've gotten into.

Time to put the big girl support garment on, and do my own thinking for a change.
That said, I've decided that one of my jobs does not fit in with the New Jones Constitution. I'm resigning next week.

Now. What are we all doing with this most glorious crisp (almost) new day ?

Yes, phone sex work could be very demanding i imagine. Good you're giving it the flick.
Today, well, right now, i will bathe leisurely. Then i shall go for an easy run/workout, and do some weeding, and a bit of a tidy up. Then re-string the axe, and lay down some track's baby.

Ooroo, and 'ave a good weekend everyone. :welcome:

The "fitting in"reminds me of kids in school. As we grow up into adults we learn that "fitting in"is not important anymore because you are an individual, not to be molded into some other thing. Being an original however you come is a normalcy that people like and can appreciate. In the matter of unconditional love, my family has taught me that we love our family (and some friends) for who they are regardless of their faults and other variables. The point is to love the person or accept the person in and unconditional way, there in reinforcing that they can be themselves without being judged or rejected. I have carried this out in my quest for life and meeting other individuals, that they can be accepted for they are and not be judged by myself, because it is not my place, and I accept the person before me as they are. Speaking of accepting, the more eccentric one is the more fascinated and in awe I am. I am a weird one and do appreciate other weird ones, though my packaging may be deceiving. Anyways, none of what I said may help, but now I feel a bit reflective as well. I say if you don't fit some in, be glad that you are the original mold for your in. Why be a copy.

In the time it took me to post that you guys were posting and I see it had no relevance to the job aspect of fitting in. Oh golly.
