      Plan B for locust birthday - he made a steak pie - MC without the kidney - for his brother and himself and we did chook and potatoes. Bought cupcakes and icecream. On total sugar overload and feel like exploding. He opted to do family lunch on Sunday, wants his little brother to be there. This could be coz he wants to kill his other brother and has decided the one thats away is now the favourite. Anyway...

      Tawns how many olive trees do you have? How old and what was the yield for this first crop? Flicking between MC and Italian Food Safari tonight. Olives on the brain.

      Time for a tea me thinks and calm me farm.

      Nice to see you Kaz, your a good fit in the drawer.

      And Bridge, I want chooks AND ducks. Coupla years and counting.

        Have a day orf tomorrow, which will just be a catch up day truth be known, but I'm bloody lucky to have a catch up day...
        Let's face it Undies, at the end of the day we have a roof over our heads, a good meal in our tummies, hopefully a job and ( by the grace of Dog).... the love of our friends, family and each other..

          HP, sounds like a good bday night.
          Asp, I know pot is addictive because my brother has been smoking it for over a decade nonstop, and it has made a bit of mess with his mind. I also find some have addictive personalities, so they must be careful, myself included.

          I am going to call myself the midnight cowboy on this thread. I keep telling myself bed bed bed, yet I do not go. Ebay bidding is addictive. All the sudden trying to outbid some one in the last 4 minutes bidding more than double what I want to pay in order to win. Must be the competitive side of me because my brain is telling me I must win. Anyways, don't bother trying the choc banana ice cream, tastes chalky. See you all in the A.M.

              Nice and peaceful here. No porno's on SBS, had 895 mil only of choc soy (i'm titrating down slowly. Full map, graph's, and chart's over on my soy thread), and strumming a tune. Noice.

              Happy birthday to the locust HP.

              'The brown bottle' is a beauty Aspy. Thanks for posting it. Spot on. A good reminder of how the fun and the nice warm glow can turn to shame, self loathing, and destruction.

                Have had the week from hell. I am drinking and feeling really bad. Far out brussel sprout, when does this gig get easier. Mum yelled at me yesterday. I feel like a loser even though I have a lot of af time n under my belt. I have to pull myself together and get to work in seven hours. How will I pull it off .I am sick as a dog.

                    Saph tried to pm you probably like all the sundries. Box is full. You are so not a loser. It is a hard gig, no shit, but you are one of the strong ones and you can pull yourself out of this hole. Now, I have to go and swallow the shit load of vitamins that SOMEONE recommended to me. Your advice is gold, its working for me most days when I listen to the little Saphy on my shoulder.

                        Morning all,

                        Sapph - I agree with Bridge. I realise it's not always possible to check in here especially when you're working but I think it's pretty important. Check in when your week is beginning to become difficult and talk about it. Don't wait until it's turned to a week of hell with the obvious conclusion. The gap between your binges is getting a hell of a lot wider and that's got to be fantastic. I expect you feel like shit today and that in itself is a stark reminder for the rest of us.
