I saw a stray chook during morning peak hour on the footpath the other day. It was a funny sight to be sure. Hope it got back home alright. I couldn't stop, otherwise i would've thrown her in the boot. I'm seeing chooks everywhere these day's!

What times the evacuation? Anybody know? I wouldn't say i was a religous man, but i do say a prayer now and then, so where does that leave me? Who announced all this? Great news about your ex - pisshead friend. That is truly a turn around. I think i understand what she means by no decisions and going with the flow. I wish her continued sobriety and happiness.

A mate of mine has just achieved 4 months AF, and just got back from partying in Thailand, but nup, not a drop, loved it, and stuck to the banana smoothies. :yuk:
He reckons al isn't his drug of choice, but he was hitting the turps a bit hard the last couple of years particularly, and it was the substance he partook in mostly, from my observations, so it's a great step forward, and he's reaping the benefit's with clear thinking, healthy decisions/choices, and doing things he loves. I remember when i was around a year af, he came to a gig and was drinking orange juice, not booze. I like to think my journey and choice was a motivator. Noice.

The sun is attempting to break through here, despite a dismal forecast. Yeaah. (Maybe it's the good lord?)
