You're very right of course, but we really wouldn't have it any other way would we. It's nice to know that the kids want to come home and know they can if they have to for whatever reason. Are you planning on bathing the dog BBJ? I have a long haired German Shepherd, who is not overly fond of her bath at all. But we have mobile Hydro Dog come to our house and the dog is led in and has a spa type bath, blow dry, brush, nails trimmed etc, she comes out looking gorgeous, it's not expensive - $25, well I don't hink it is for what the dog gets done. Takes around 45 minutes. Hey Tawny that lemon curd recipe does look luscious, it is exactly the same as my mum-in-law used to make when she came to stay, I used to have to stand at the stove and do the stirring, brings back lots of great memories. Love and Sunshine Kaz x
    $25 bucks is fantastic !

I usually take her into the shower with me, lock the bathroom door and we just fight it out. I use about a litre of woolwash on her, and we both come out exhausted and violated.

Secretly I am terrified of the boy moving out but don't tell anyone.

I have a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, and I reckon it is being in the orifice and being able to link into the Undies on a regular basis and when i have a bit of time on my hands!! Haven't got as much done today as I would have liked, but I will come in over the weekend and that way I'll be able to be here as much as I like!!! Who was it that was ordering the yurt for me?? :H

I've spent some time over the last couple of weeks going through Mum's old recipes dating back to the 1930s (which she usually ripped out of the newspaper), and making lots of things that we used to have as kids. It has sparked lots of memories (I was the sous-chef of the house from age 5!!). Mr B suggested I keep a diary of the recipe, my memory of it from when I was a kid, and notes on cooking it now (like a healthy replacement for suet in steak and kidney pudding :H). I've been doing that and really enjoying it, particulary commenting on the newspaper stories that were on the other side of the ripped out recipes!! Would like to turn it into a blog at some point and scan in some of the original copies from the newspaper and some of the pictures.

Anyway, I have a number of recipes for lemon curd (in fact a 10-page cyclo-styled (sp?) thing that has any number of recipes to use up lemons, together with household hints for what to do with lemons!!!) ..... will check them out tonight.

Also the comment on tongue a few days ago .... I have an entire cook-book from the 1970s on cooking with gelatine. 'nuff said

Lilly I got my first new pair of glasses in December since 2006 and cant believe how much clearer the world looked!!

Kaza - what a lovely big heart you have!!

HP - I transferred that post to a word doc and have blu-tacked to my wall!!

off soon, but will be here all weekend xx

No Lilly - cant get MWO at home at all, and Mr B think that somehow my IP address is blocked! Have to post at work or on the run ....... at the moment, it is an incentive to come into work and get everything done that needs to be done!

So you will have to have bath night without me :upset::upset::upset::upset:

HP thanks for that, had a look at the site, sent it to my daughter too, to give her more ideas for meals for little one.
Yip everything is so much clearer with the new specs, even the trees look greaner:H

                              Hi All
Bridge posted you a huge reply a lot earlier but somehow lost it - goodness knows how - but I seem to manage to do these things. Anyway, part of what I posted was German Shepherd and me in a glass shower stall would not be good, one of us would lose and I know it would be me - hee hee - she's a big girl and weighs more than I do as well. Take care. Anyways talk soon, Love and Sunshine Always. Kaz xx
