    Wow. What a day! Mom's appointment went well, despite our lengthy wait to get in . She REALLY hates waiting, Lol!

      Fen, I SO understand how your mom feels. You are such a good, patient daughter, though, and trust me, she knows and appreciates what you do. I hated all the appointments, waiting, with my parents too (Momma couldn't drive in Hotlanta) but I'd give anything to have one more trip with them. I just opened a lovely card from my daughter's best friend, whose mother was my best friend. She died from cancer while the girls were at summer camp, when they were 13, in 1987. Means SO much to me.

            thats awesome fennel and yes i know about the waiting thing well too ..with all the doc appt sue has had one was like four hours and then the doc left before even see sue ..
            lets just say she was not a happy camper ...
            ruby you are stalling girl ...
            get your ass to a doc and just have him or her take a look in your ears and
            well just got my new toy in the mail and well the truck gets a green light sytem running great
            and
            oh just got a call from anthony he passed his GED and i was the first one he called ..felt good ...
            :beach: life does change as long as you are willing to change yourself ..
            best thing about the future it comes one day at a time..

                        That's cos I was at work Ruby !!! Just got home - and we didn't even have the slow cafe person today! just customers who wouldn't leave then when they finally left saying "oh, we are so sorry" - you know what? i don't care that they are sorry - I just want them OUT!!!!!! We DO have homes to go to!! It makes me SO cross. And on that grumpy note, I will say good night all.

                          Hey Everyone,

                          My day went something like this, I copied what I posted in the underoos.
                          Just got home from a along day.
                          You know your day is going to be good when you back out of the driveway on the way to work and scrape the car along the brick wall. :thumbs:
                          You know it gets better when your cars reverse function is no longer in working order.:banana:
                          Last but not least, when you are driving and eating, and soy sauce spills down your nice white jumper and you are going back to work. YAY!:applaud:

                          Just one of those days, and I didn't really mind about any of it. Just enjoyed the good bits in between and laughed at myself a few times.

                          Sun, I don't know about you but I get quite a few of these customers :stomper:.
                          Hope you all are having a lovely snooze. See you in the A.M.

                            Good morning, friends. SST-what a day you had-but way to go for being able to laugh about it. I hope your car gets straightened out.

                            Ruby-I hope you get to a doctor today and get your ear sorted. BTW-your s-i-l is, ummmm, a hottie!
                            Sunny-no being grumpy today on your day off! I hope you can get outside in your garden today and relax. Vicki-it was really good to finally talk to you yesterday and I hope you are feeling on top of the world today. You are a beautiful mother of the bride and everything will be fine. 4 more days and it will all be over! Hill-I hope you have a great day! Swannie-:l. I hope you are resting and healing. Fen-I'm glad your Mom's dr. appointment went well....

                              SunnyButt, every time we go to the local B&N, the same guy (started to say 'old' guy, but sure he's no older than you!) is asleep, in the same chair, with the same magazine. Asked Hubs once if he thought they ever checked him for a pulse! :H We have so many transplants now in our town, and many of them are just plain snooty to us local hicks. Seems they congregate there!
                              SST, HON! Sometimes it seems I have weeks, even months, like that. Ask some of the folks here about some of my experiences. We HAVE to laugh!
                              Grateful, dear heart, so good to hear from you! Yes, he is sorta cute, huh? He and daughter are fitness nuts. They eat so much salmon I expect them to have gills! He loves hugs, and I never turn them down! :H He's very friendly and outgoing; you can imagine he's very popular around their community pool! Dau calls him their family ambassador, since she's not big on smalltalk!! Hope you're taking care of yourself, not overdoing for everyone else but you.
                              Nora, it was great to see you check in last night, as usual. We so miss you when you're away. How are things with you, your FIL? Take care of yourself too, please.
                              Guess I'll try the doc now that dau recommended. Hate to go, but hate that everyone on the phone sounds like they've been sucking helium balloons.
                              Sunny, hope you have a beautiful, happy day in the yard. Maybe you'll even see a rainbow! Isn't it great they're in color now, instead of black and white, like they were when you were a child??
