Did you all get swooped away? Drifty--you are being so diligent--good for you! Keep those positive thoughts going and you will do great! Plans still in motion for me--will take Magda tomorrow--should be interesting as she is a herd dog by nature but never been exposed to horses and llamas. Daughter is game and I am game and I'm sure Magda is game. Hope you're all taking care. xo

Goodmorning everyone, I hope that your weekend is going well.
Ringing, how are things my fellow Canuck? I am jealous you slept past 7. Yes the black flies are getting bigger each year I think.
Drifty, great job on enjoying a sober night out, and like you say, enjoying a hangover free life.
Tony, cute pup for sure. How big will he grow to be?
Well yesterday was busy, fixing docks at our family property. The ice always tears apart our cribs. Lots of work, but we are making progress. Take care everyone,
HillSober since Feb 7, 2010.

You'll all be thrilled to hear that I've come up with a couple of ideas. For those who enjoy a good workout, I'll offer wood chopping and splitting. Later, we can pick ticks off of each other and flick said ticks into the bonfire. Late at night, we can sneak over to Governor Dodge state park and go skinny dipping! Any takers?

Good morning Jammers! Coffee, shower and off to daughters little farm. Hope it doesn't rain--40% chance but not looking so happy out there right now. The flies shouldn't be too bad down there. Hill using carbolic soap this time of year can be really helpful and a great natural bug spray called Buzz Away. Enjoy the long weekend All! xo

Good morning everyone - gosh, it has been sparse here hasn't it? anyway, I am rushing round trying to get my house half way decent 'cos I am getting a foster dog around noon today!! Not quite sure how it happened, but happen it did - so need to get going - not really a lot to do but enough that I want to get going and get it out of the way!
Love and hugs to all - Oh, eyes are improving slowly - RC, WF didn't have any chickweed tea!! So I am still using the aloe. Plus the stuff the Doc gave me.
Grateful - how are you doing? Still hanging in there??
Hi Rog and Ruby!! Tony - love the new puppy! Fennel - laughed at the activities that you have planned at your cabin!! And Rc is going to see what she can work out with some electric fencing??? ROTFL
Hill - you are always so busy, if not with the children then with other stuff - guess it keeps you out of mischief though!! You must stay fit too, with all that you do.
Anyway I really must go and carry on getting my house foster dog ready!
Talk later everyone,
Hugs, Sun XXHow simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....

Morning all. We went sightseeing and flea hopping yest. First Hubs took Rog on a trip around to see the rentals, the farm, the power plant, the grocery store (:H) . (BTW: Hubs made everyone breakfast yest!) When they got back and we had some lunch, then through our town to see the beautiful old houses, buildings, the huge horsefarms, stopped at some of my fav flea markets, thrift stores, went BACK by the grocer, and finally got home around 6:30. A meal of leftovers and ice cream, a little TV, and we were tuckered!
Today is was biscuits and gravy, now Rog is getting to know Hubs equipment, has had his driving lesson on the gator, and is getting ready to start clearing. He's been itching to work! I guess as long as I keep the food coming, he's good! Sue and I have been swapping crochet patterns, and Rog has actually made tentative friends with TMB!! He still shows her a lot of respect!
Later all, wish I could speak to each of you individualy, but I might post more tonight. Oh, and it was 94F he yesterday. Pool is about 75.sigpic

I AM HOME AND I JUST WOKE UP!!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooo sore.....muscles hurt that I didn't even know I had. And talk about sunburn.....
we had an awesome day.......Senator Somebody started this 26 years ago in Orlando and it was amazing. There must have been 3000 people there, representing multi-family housing, hospitality and tourism, and restaurants. And let me tell you, these people take this stuff SERIOUSLY. There were huge speakers blasting good music all day, a HUGE stand up pool....yes we threw our boss in, and then sports arenas all over. I did volleyball, inner tube racing (which kicked my ass and since it was in a natural lake, I think I have an aoemba in my privates!!!:H basketball...yes....I outshot all the guys on our team!!
I even got in the jumpy thing and bounced around for a few minuites.
Here is what I leared......I am terribly out of shape.
But I am a good sport and a team player
I adore the people I work with:h
and I have an aoemba in my privates...I am convinced!!!!! Think workmans comp will cover aoemba extraction???:H
Oh.....and I am 50 going on 21 and my body is defo telling me about it today.
Enough about me....
Ruby, ya'll sound like you are having a blast and my heart breaks for Sue. Can this damaged neck be fixed? Sounds like a lawsuit to me.Kiss Rog for me and send me any and all leftovers.
Sunni,,,another puppy dog???Is it a sheltie???? You have such a big heart.
Vicki - I hope you are enjoying your family. I love you too sweetie.
Tony...we stopped at a seafood restaurant on the way home last night. My roomie and driver is from Baltimore and loves Blue crabs. I had never had them so I was game. Anyway, our waitress, Cindy was a hoot and started showing us pictures of all her "chiweenies"..a chi and daschund blend. They were adorable. It was really funny b/c the couple in the booth behind us shrieked and said they had chiweenies, too!!!!:H
I thought a chiweenie was a derogatory term for a poorly blessed man, but I guess not:H
Nora, Grateful, hill, Rene..everyone....I am so blessed to know you and so thrilled to see you here.
Fen....naybe we could string the dead ticks together and make jewelry???? And don't forget we must go on a snipe hunt.
Oh and RC.....are you opening a new store??
Drifty and Nelz.......ROCK ON!!!! I like your goals Nelz
Of to shower and wallow like a manatee and watch some old movies.....the boys all went to the lake, so I have the whole day to myself....bliss.
I love you all
JanI love my family more than alcohol.:h
