    Good morning, my fellow travelers! I've been awake for hours, just trying to catch up paperwork. Have a very busy day on tap (again), but this week has pushed me out of my rut at least! :H
    I'll try my best to check up with you all later, at least by tonight. Hope everyone has a great weekend planned!!

      Good morning Jammers! I'm at work--slow moving--seem to be in a bit of a funk after all my excitement yesterday. It's all good but bringing up all kinds of thoughts. My daughter has friended my Dad now. I have steps I want to contact too. Life is full of twists and turns.
      Rubes I will email you some info on candling or find a good site and post. I'm still working from this little notebook--need to buy a 35' usb line for my main computer where years of info lay. Um Ruby, should I have expected a parcel? Not that I expect one, but wouldn't want it lost or wouldn't want you to think I haven't thank'd you if you did send it.

        RC, I am ashamed to say your 'parcel' is sitting right here in my office, all neat and staring at me. One clue I'll give you - you may not need it often but when you do you'll need it!

          Thanks Rubes-me too-for years just when I thought the winds were a changin another hurricane seemed to hit me. Um--damn it's not the jacket. It's true I covet that jacket. What can I say--my bad. lol

                Gosh - it has been quiet here today!!! I just got home from work and am off to mow what we call grass (more weeds but we still call it grass), before it rains - it looks as if it is going to rain, so I need to get out there and mow NOW - back later friends!

                  I just got back from work, mowing in the rain YAY I own a small lawn company and dont have minions yet to do muh dirty work.....Im just tyring to stay busy, and keep my mind of of the devil juice.

                      Evening folks--just pigged out on a very thin crust spinach/provolone pizza and I'm probably going to fall asleep very shortly. I am exhausted. I talked to two aunts today and lots of messaging back and forth. I have the family nose as has been commented on by several family members now. lol And it seems my dad tried to find me again just 8 months ago.

                      Hope everyone is doing well this Saturday evening. xo

                        Nelz, we have ACRES of grass to be cut. We do own everything from a push mower to a bush hog, but someone has to do the work. Good thing staying busy.
                        Sun, you need a little 'sun', don't you think? I hate being muggy though.
                        As I said, RC, this is a whole new chapter. I'm sure the questions are filling you mind right now, but I believe this will be a good thing.

                              Good morning everyone, I hope all is well. I have my first softball practice for my mixed adult team, could be ugly. My baseball swing is a mix of a golf swing and one you use at the fair, with the sledge hammer to try to make the rabbit go all the way up to ring the bell.

                                Merry, that's great. Dealing with those first days, esp. depending on our support, is difficult. I'd love to hear more from you; about you, who and where you are. Part of the joy of this place is being able to connect, to talk about our lives. AL has had a big impact on most of them, so living without it as a ruler sometimes leaves us at odds with ourselves for a while. One of the most wonderful things is that rediscover the things that give us pleasure, and happiness; things we discarded when AL took over our direction. Our old problems may still be there, but we can deal with them soberly and rationally. People have posted about rediscovering themselves, and that's fun, hard, happy, heartbreaking, exhilierating.
                                Rog and Sue are leaving today. Sort of a change in our schedule, but they've been here 10 days and we've had a ball. Neither of us had figured in the holiday weekend. Suddenly all my kids and grands, with their current significant others, have decided to descend on Hubs and me at the cabin, and there are only 3 bedrooms. I'll have to shoe horn the little ones into sleeping spaces, but it will be fun. (AS long as I can escape to our bedroom and leave them to the house!! But for my part, it's been a great visit with a dear friend, and now on to the little loves of my life. OH! And as of now, TMB has not tried to eat Rog! She's been deceptively slow and languid, kissing up to him and Sue.
                                I hope everyone's off having a great time, since you're not posting here! Enjoy your holiday!!
