Have you any strategies in place?

Reccie dear, do you think maybe it's time you considered getting a plan together. What happened to your drink counselor? You can't be enjoying this...
    Thanks Mrs A

At the moment I'm pinning my hopes on my visit(s) to the consultant my GP is referring me to (although I haven't been given an appointment yet and I saw my GP two weeks ago). I've realised that I'm in too bad a state of mind to make much progress with the drink till things are better. For the time being I have finished with the drink counsellor as I think it would be a waste of her time, but have got the option to go back and see her at a later date. And you're right stirly - I'm not enjoying this. :upset:

I have rung them twice. Nothing backYou mean you've called and left a message and no one called you back or you called and they didn't have an answer for you?
The first is unacceptable. The second means they still haven't made up their mind.

We know that Reccie dear and that's why were all concerned about you. Hopefully you will get the appointment soon with that consultant.

Well, first of all, I learned how to type with the blind system when I was young so I'm not using the two finger method which usually involves more pressure on the keys. And I really do type lightly and fairly quickly. However I always preview my post and often reword it before I submit it so it might not look like I type that fast.

Oh, and in between posting here I'm sending PM's and e-mails as well. :H:H

P.S. Are you saying that I talk too much? Huh??

          Hello again all,

Thanks for your well wishes. Yeah things are going well at the moment and have actually not even thought about AL each day anymore. I feel pretty serene and the sunshine has made me cheer up no end!

Plus being able to shop for some new clothes really showed me what I can do when I don't waste my money, and I look very dapper, even for a metrosexual! :H

I've had my bikini on all day Zenners

Am glued to the scores Reccie, and will be watching my boys on SKY sports 1 later. Poor Cy's Cardiff are struggling, which is good for me, but I do feel bad - would love to see us both in the Prem next year!

Starty - sorry you've not heard about the job - have you contacted them at all? Sometimes these things are put on hold, especially if the recruiting manager is on hols for Easter/Bank Holidays etc?

Everyone - Mr Monkey is great thanks - he's not wild about the sun after a couple of hours, but he whines cos he is missing out on something if I shut him in behind the patio doors...silly dogger!

Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Waiting is never fun but it's worse waiting on an answer from someone who doesn't do his job properly. But don't give up hope. Like Reccie and I both said before, sometimes it takes them a while as they are weighing all the possibilities. Or there may be some delay that you don't know about.

I think poor old Cy must be a bit shellshocked at the mo, but by my reckoning if it stays like that and Norwich win tonight your side would be promoted?

Freddie's not a great fan of the sun either, especially in the hot summer months. When we're walking and he's off his leash, if I call for him to stop and wait, he walks to the nearest shady spot and then stops.

And when we take him to the beach he has his own umbrella and matching towel....

                    I think that's downright rude.

Edit: I meant the interviewer, not you starty!

Went to help my friend buy a car today and have been overdosing on the news. Hope you are all well.

                          Eveninks my darlinks,

Nanna nap lasted longer than expected.

Starty, I'm still waiting for the job I applied for in November, I live in hope.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Yes Reccie - we'd be promoted with a win tonight, unless Cardiff claw back a 4-3

Stirly - I am taking Monkey to the beach soon, maybe I'll have to get him a parasol and towel to match Freddy's LOL

Hey Cass - can you believe it? The day they got Bin Laden...amazing week of news really. Poor Henry Cooper RIP
