Cowgal committed suicide last year. Very sad circumstances. She was a lovely person, though. I'm not really up to going into more detail than that, if you don't mind.
    Thanks tips. No problem.

Well apparently I'm having a party on the 19th June for the son and heir's birthday. Thank Dawg he's a friend on FB or I'd have known nothing about it.

Apparently it's a BBQ starting at 1.30pm with dancing later, then orff clubbing when they get fed up of us feeding them.

And do you know what, I'm loving the fact he knows he can invite his pals round and know we won't go crackers.

Oh, you'll just love making a pile of things to go with the BBQ. And a cake of course. Or maybe two...

      Just remembered about that.

Do you think it's a multichoice.
      a) Ooh what a cracking idea
b)Can't we just do it the old way
      c) When the heck did women get the vote
d)Do you want to think about this and come back next week
e)Will you actually take a blind bit of notice and just carry on as usual

And we've got the council elections.

      Will I need 2 pencils.

No, she's prolly off looking at double oven gas cookers in anticipation of cooking and baking up a storm for the birthday boy. Still hasn't found exactly what she wants....

Got to be up bright and early tomorrow morning to drive Poppy to the vet's for a dental, so an enforced AF evening and night awaits since I can't make myself stop after one or two drinks. Don't know whether to or :upset:, so I'm instead. It'll save a tenner anyway.

      Hiya tips.

Anyone know what the story was with Cowgal? She was from before I joined MWO.

All these greetings get very confusing sometimes. When the thread starts motoring along, it's hard to remember who you've said hello to and who you haven't.

You guys all know my sweet dog Freddie. Well he's been a little "excited" the past couple of days. There's a female dog about a block down the street who's out in the yard all day and is at the stage of wanting suitors. I guess he can pick up her scent from here. Doggers are known to have good noses anyway but Freddo's part Griffon which are known for their abilities to pick up a scent from a distance. Anyway, he'd been restless yesterday and whimpering a lot which he doesn't usually do and then yesterday evening, as I was talking to my Mom on Skype, we heard this low moaning sound that got higher and higher and louder and louder until it sounded like a wolf baying at the moon. Scared the bejeezus out of both of us til I realized what the sound was. He did it again this morning and it freaks me out. Silly dogger - he howls when he's "hot". Note that in human years he's about the ripe old age of 91 to 92. Sure hope Mr. Stirly doesn't start doing the same in a few years...

That's a great pic. Always been a sucker for cute animals. Sounds like a dangerous combination though - a hamster and cats in the same household.

Stirly's a Canadian living in Greece TYVM and she has no problem with garlic breath. In fact, when I make something like tzatziki or skordalia that has grated garlic cloves in it, I put so much in that it makes yer ears tingle....

Ah, gorgeous. Reminds me of one of our girls. Tips, whatever you do, don't feed them lettuce. Stick to dry hamster food or google what they can eat. And don't have two females together in the same cage when mating season is on. They'll fight like cats and dogs.
