    Army Thread 6th May

Taking baclofen must have affected my opinions about British politics as well. I seem to be indifferent to it :H

Anyone care to talk about the European Union instead?

    :hallo: Army

Home safe and sound after the week. Glad it's weekend! I don't have to cook dinner tonight either. We've decided that we'll hoover the contents of the fridge as and when we see fit. I simply ensured that I stocked it with choccies, a lekker piece of cheese (or two), finely sliced kudu biltong and some incredible pastrami.

Combine that with freshly baked breadrolls, generous lashings of that yellow-spreadable-stuff-that-cannot-be-named-while-Oners-still-lives-and-breathes, pickles, mustard, mayo etc. and you're all set. Yum!

    Sooooooooooooo... how is everybody?

I hope my favourite lurker is also doing well?

Just got back from the cinema where I watched Insidious. Great film, and if you like your horrors, I can highly recommend it!

          Good evening, Cy

You do indeed sound much chirpier.

I takes some courage to tackle things like money situations. Many of us would rather stick our heads in the sand. I used to be excellent at hiding from ANY kind of problem. Now I only do it some of the time :H

I had become an expert at it Tips! Just put the final notice in the draw, pour a vodka and forget about it. Because of that I am in alot of debt, but im slowly unraveling a bad situation the best I can, and once ive sold the house I can wipe the slate clean and start afresh. The debt was always a huge trigger for me, as was the thought of losing everything and starting from scratch.
But im 35, and have plenty of time to rebuild, and being clear minded, happy and sober is the most important thing, so im doing what has to be done.

Ah, a couple of fellow head-buriers, tips and cy. How nice.

Edit - I meant how nice to see that it's not just me that buries their head.

                                Hi di hi Starteroo,

                                Well here's a thing.

On another thread I advised someone to keep a drinks diary. Well I finally got round to clearing tidying out another cupboard and there was mine, along with 8 empty miniatures of vodka and an empty bottle of wine.

What a fecking mess I was in. I was going to hoy it in the bin but decided to keep it. Looked like a different woman had written it.
It could be worse, I could be filing.
