That year was the year I got sober in the July and stayed that way for about 5/6 months.

I'z just counting on me fingers at the moment..............so after faffing about for about 4 years with AF, AA, modding, bingeing, only drinking with a Y in the day, only holidays, birthday parties until the final absolute falling off the wagon in March to July 2009 I finally got here.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

July was my lucky month too
I was always trying something. Often just drinking one sort of drink, or diluting it with lemonade or putting some sort of rule that went out the window after I had sunk the first

That really gives me hope. July was my watershed month.

Mrs A, there is always hope. This journey is probably the hardest thing and most worthwhile thing i have ever done. I tried for years too, but in the end, it stuck xx

              Ach Mrs A,
We'll show you a good time in Dublin.

Watching waiters faces drop as they have to take the wine menu back was a fave.

                      Hello Troopers.

Finally got through all of today's thread...

very sad news you have there Mario. Hope you're ok.

Had to laugh at Mrs A's dream though.

Thought I'd better venture outside and inspect the garden cos they say it's going to rain tomorrow and blimey, what a mess! Trying to give the back lawn its first haircut of the year and the poor old mower is choking on the grass and giving off ominous burning smells, so I'm giving it and myself a break and the chance to cool down. It's too blooming hot to be working outside anyway. Grumble grumble grumble. That is indeed sad news about that young woman who took her own life. So young and yet so troubled...

                      I wasn't in Mrs. A's dream....

Reccie - don't complain about the weather please. I live in Greece and it was almost like winter here today. Cold, windy and rainy. Give me a month and I'll be complaining about the heat waves....
