        Hello everyone :hallo:

Hope everyone's having a good day.

I'm envious of Molly for having a garden that looks like a garden and for having a marble cake.

And I'm envious of stirly for living in such a beautiful country.

Went out to buy chocolatey stuff last night cos everyone was talking about chocolate and bought loads of food and stuff and completely forgot the chocolate. :upset:

Anyone heard from Stashia lately? She's been very quiet.

              checked back:

On topic of holidays, I've only left the country twice, both times with my school and both involving a trip to Auschwitz, which is not exactly a holiday destination xD however as half of one of the trips I did get to visit Prague and I absolutely loved it, beautiful city, so much to explore

Mario: glad your party went well really happy for you

anon: how did your race go? do let us know

Starty: good for you on not worrying and gettign soem you time in, you deserve it

Happy mothers day to all of those celebrating, I actually would love it if it was mothers day again today here, I like treating my mum to things haha. Hi to all the rest of the army

                :hallo:

Phew. Mother's Day has left me exhausted. And Mrs. T isn't even my mom

Dunno if I'll be able to pop in tomorrow - I'm going to a "strategy" (my ass) session on a wine farm tomorrow. To be concluded by a wine tasting, of course. I'll just make myself scarce as soon as we're done with the "work" (as if) bit.

Had a busy day today. Did the shopping, tidied up the kitchen & TV room, made the beds, cooked roast lamb dinner plus a huge pot of butternut soup for later in the week (with chicken stock prepared from scratch, I'll have you know). I even miraculously managed to replace the washing machine & dishwasher water connection thingy that had started leaking. And cleaned the pool.

WTF was I thinking??? I'm dead on my feet.
                I'll do whatever it takes

He does that Inchy, just pops up when you're not expecting him.

                    Yoooooooo hoooooooooooo Tips,

Shall I start the thread just after midnight as I know fine well I'll still be awake. Mammoth gardening session and a roast beef dinner followed by a lengthy nanna nap, means I'll be awake half the night.

                        Hiya tips

I'm impressed with your long list of achievements today. Makes me tired just thinking about it.

I think our brief spell of much needed rain has come to an end and we'll be back to having lots of sunshine again next week. Would actually prefer it to carry on raining.

On holidays, Inchy the furthest I'd got by the time I was 20 was our local beach for the day.

Going abroad was for really posh people. You'll have to get Stirls to tell you about the Magic bus to Greece. It's a must do for all students.

ooh we've had thunder, hailstones and masses of rain, then bright blue skies. Black Bess was having a good old barkity bark bark at the heavens.

When I was 19 or 20 I bought an Interrail ticket for a hundred quid with my student grant (yep, students got grants back in those days) and went all round Europe for a month with a rucksack and tent on my back. Was one of the most memorable times of my life and it didn't cost much.
