The other parrot went to another owner (after MUCH persuasion by me) a woman whose parrot had died and who lived alone, she was over the moon.
Rob on the other hand has been depressed since the bird went (I have been feckin walking on sunshine) and he had decided he cannot live a life without a parrot in it.
