      Good morning Startypants and Anon

Starts was it easy? I really need to sell the dog crate I brought Elle over in, its nearly as big as my apartment! How do you find out how much shipping charges are?

Anon - I haven't yet opened the curtains but I can hear the wind howling! You are a hardy soul.....

        Hiya Mrs A and Chillywilly
Honestly Chilly, I have worried and fretted but it was the easiest thing in the world. I put mine as Pick up only so whoever wants it can come and get it.
Are you OK Chilly? I read that you might have CFS?

I'm fine Starts, trying to slow down which isn't easy for me and I'm hoping it was just a temporary flare up due to the mega stress.

happy, yes (I brought that with me!)
control, no..... feel like I'm watching someone else living my life at the moment, kinda scared what to think, if I think about what I've left it's just too damn hard.... I'm just staring straight ahead and concentrating on the next 5 minutes!

Phew. They've gone. TFFT but I'm sad to say I lied about having to 'go out later' to make sure they wouldn't get too comfy.

You know, it's impossible to hide from visitors when you live in the sticks. The car and the ute are parked in full view, the mowers are still out and of course there's the tell-tale plume of smoke coming out of the chimney.

And I think that brings us back to hedonism. I'd done some good jobbies in the am, then had shower, put on the new purple hippy dress and was ready to settle in next to the fire. An enjoyable reward. All five cats were in residence and I only needed to complete two more clues in the Times Cryptic. I love that brain strain. I had snacks at the ready. Pure Sunday arvo bliss.

So whilst the unexpected arrival of drop-ins was of no earth shattering concern, it still stopped me doing what I really really wanted to do, when I wanted to do it. Pleasurable stuff. That's hedonism.

The day is still young. Much can be salvaged. I may not now get to heaven because I lied but I did send them off with a dozen googies. Surely that counts for something?
