      Morning Starty, Expattie & KTABbers

The cubs have left for school and quiet has descended. I'm considering a short nanna nap before I have a peek at the outside world to see what the weather holds.

KTAB: snap out of it :H:H:H

Yeah, settling in well. In my new apartment and it's all good!

Jet lag is fine. I fell asleep about half eight tonight bur forced myself to get up so I didn't sleep right thru. So, now if I get another five hours or so I should be right as rain.

You sound like you have a big day ahead of you! X

              That's good to hear!

Nah - compared to commuting 120km (74 miles) every day , this is a doddle

Wow! I always wondered why you get up so early! Is that each way or round trip? X

Round trip. I leave early because there are only two highways into Cape Town. That way, the trip into town takes 40 minutes instead of 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I leave town again before rush hour(s) start.

                      Morning Army

Starts got everything crossed for you :fingers:

Tips that commute is a toughy!! I was doing 152 miles round trip last year and fortunately my boss let me stay in an apartment on the development...has its good and bad though

Great to hear you settling in Cass

KTAB I wonder if she'll taste the Guiness!! Last time I came to Dublin I went there, when I got to the top of the end of the tour they offered you your free pint of Guiness I kindly refused and asked had they got a glass of wine.......WRONG :H

Panno I was just thinking do the royals still have a taster in case some one tries to poison them?

Panno, you're not going to believe this but I tried for years to drink Guinness. Thought ooh it's alcoholic and good for you. Never did get the taste.
