Me neither ...eewww its orrible!! I tried drinking it with black currant when I was pregnant to help with the anemia.yep folks on me midwives advice would you believe!!

Used to put a drop of blackcurrant in it for the young guys to get them over their immature taste buds and then wean them off of it. Dont know if that is still an active practice.

When I donated blood for many years they would offer a glass of draught guinness which they had on tap in the transfusion center. Also they used to allocate a bottle of stout a day to every patient in the main hospitals as recent as the 80s.
