Blimey Jackie - new washer, new oven, new lappie - I reckon you must be single-handedly stopping the country from tipping back into recession!

Naw I got a wee inheritance a while ago and trying to spent on things we need rather than curries and ciggies and shoes.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I trust an HD 3D LCD TV is on the list as well?

Well it's not 3D and it's not as big as the one Tigger watched the World Cup on, but yep we got one.

Oh and some new cushion covers.

Shall I put up the avatar with the piccie of me smoking? It might be a slight consolation. Smoking is the battle that still looms for me, too. I haven't dug deep enough yet.

Yep, but you'll have to pop over to older son's place to get it. Only about 2500 kilometres or so from your house. You'd be there in a flash!!

:HDon't know that I'll be using it much except outside of work but we'll see. Mr. Stirly suggested that I take it with me when we go for coffee on Sunday mornings. I usually leaf through a few magazines while he talks about various things that are on his mind. I really can't imagine having the laptop sitting on the table surrounded by cell phones and coffee cups and me trying to post on MWO and him nattering on and on....:H

There she goes again being sensible...

I have a confession to make. I just realized that I gave Mr. Stirly one of Freddie's prostate pills by mistake. Oh good grief. I asked Mr. Stirly if he wanted some strawberries and he said yes but he'd like a scoop or two of ice cream with them. So I got the ice cream out to soften a bit and the strawberries and a nice bowl to put them in. I was about to give Freddo his pill but decided to wait til after I'd given Mr. Stirly his ice cream. So I wouldn't forget to give the dogger the pill, I put it in the bowl that I'd got ready for the ice cream and berries. Then a few minutes later, after the ice cream had softened enough to scoop it out, I went to get it ready. However, having a conversation at the same time, I failed to notice the white pill in the white bowl and tossed a couple of scoops of ice cream on top and then the berries. Now why Mr. Stirly didn't notice the crunchy pill in the soft ice cream and softer berries is another question.... Off to give Freddie his pill...

                                Yo Inchy,

Sorry but I have an image of Mr Stirly spitting the pill out on the floor and Stirls shoving it back down his neck.

It took half a packet of finest Brussels pate to get Black Bess last tablet down her.
