    Just found out there's fecking football all night on Channel 5 so I won't get me weekly hit of NCIS, Law and Order and Law and Order SVU. I'm a bit peeved.

    Oh hang on there's Desperate Housewives at 10.

              Sorry you have to put up with football. There's a reason why we have an extra bedroom (now my "office") and it has a TV in it. You can always watch something on the PC tho'...

              Don't tell me that you've been bored looking for a lappy toppy online. Shopping is good tho'. Especially when you find exactly what you want at a good price. I got two floaty scarves, a new lippy and lip-liner to match, new unmentionables and new shoes on Saturday's trip to Athens. I'm right chuffed with my purchases.urgirl:inkele:

                Ach I done the lappy thing to death on the tinterweb, finally picked one I like. Will hot foot it up to PC World tomorrow night clutching it's ref number and the 10 year old assistant will persuade me to buy something completely different.

                    Younger son will be 32 in November. Older son turned 34 in April. Shopping with older son is not fun. In fact I once gave him a bus ticket and left him in the middle of the city to take a bus home by himself. Mind you he was about 16 or 17 then and I had to be at work in a very short time and he'd spent all morning looking at Lacoste and Polo tops that we couldn't afford back then. So glad that we've got through all of that and he has, for years now, bought his own clothes.
