    Army Thread 21st May

    Good morning, Army

Today would have been my granny's 103rd b'day. She stuck it out with determination until she reached her century and passed away just over a month later. She was quite something.

Now: to do or not to do, that is the question. Shall I be a lazy slob today and do nothing much, or shall I be more productive? I'll think on it over a cup of coffee and a few cigs.
    I'll do whatever it takes

    Morning Tip,

Go graany go, thats would of an amazing age! My great Aunt died recently a week before her 99th. Wow, I used worry I'd never see past 40 lol!

Cloudy and grey here but the garden today beckons,
I can not alter the direction of the wind,

But I can change the direction of my sail.

Morning Army, Tips-to do or not to do :H. Enjoy your coffee (and cigs).
We have my son's little school fair and they have to dress up as "musicians of the world" and do a parade through town. Do I have a "musicians of the world" costume hanging around the house? No, I do not. I think they come up with these ideas to drive working parents crazy and make them go into a frenzy. Anyway, my son is going as Ziggy Stardust. Hey, he is of a "world" all his own!:H My son does have a 70's Ziggy looking outfit and I'll draw a little spider on his cheek-I'll go easy on the makeup though. They already think we are strange enough as it is at the school!

          Hiya Autumn & Expattie

Enjoy the fair, Expattie. I'm sure he's going to enjoy the fuss you'll be making.

What the hell IS it with the schools? Mid-week projects are the same. The kids get them on the Monday and it has to be handed in by Thursday. Of course we have all the craft and other supplies in stock at all times. And if we don't, of course it is easy as pie to summon them from thin air in the midst of a hectic week.

              Good morning, JC

Thank fusk I haven't had to do that yet. Luckily Mrs. T is always quite keen on getting involved. When the cubs get home, she immediately wants to know what mark she got from the teacher.

                Oh it's a good'un that one.

Also building a volcano. Getting that to school is a real adventure.

The daughter's best friend made one and the geography teacher promptly sat on it.

                      A Dell, Inspiron.

Can't get the bugger to recognise our password to hook to our home broadband.

Luckily we're going to see the nice lady at O2 to get Mr JC a new phone so we'll get her to sort it out.

Morning folksies, looking for some inspiration myself. Still as a clever man once said 'the gem cannot be polished without friction nor man without trials'.
