I managed to explain the reasons why I drink, which were very much understood, so I think I've made a huge step forward. An hour and forty mins or so today and I've got another appt next week when I hope to make further progress. Probably sounds like a small matter to some people, but it's taken me 48 years to get this far cos my parents were so f*cking useless.
Very proud of ya, big guy

Mrs A, looked at the prices of train tickets to the Costa del Mersey and it's blooming cheaper for me to meet you in Dubbers.

Yo Tippers, how was the office, dear.

                        Hello Troopers.

Just stopping in for a quick peek. Even though I wasn't at the store/office today, I feel like I've put in a 12-hour shift. How the heck can that happen? I won't go into details now as others have had very trying days and mine kind of pales in comparison.

I am so very very pleased that you were looked after well and that you are going back. Mega mega hugs are coming your way :l:lReccie - good for you - ditto to what Startypants said. I've never gone for counselling and only twice to a shrink to ask for anti-depressants so I have no idea what it's like and can't imagine how hard it must have been for you. Again, good for you.:huggy

Had a lovely lunch with Panno and Mr Panno. It was so good to meet up with someone from the Army and share our experiences and also have a good laugh:HWonderful that you got to meet Mrs. and Mr. Panno. I'm a tad jealous about you UK folk and being close enough to meet each other in person. Good jealous, BTW.

How's your day been? And how's yer weather. We've got rain forecasted for tomorrow. Can't complain. I'll do that when it's September and we've had three months without even the slightest drop of rain...
