    Army Thread 24th May

    Evening everyone, lovely to see so many faces dropping in.
    I know you are probably in bed but hiya HippyC.
    Inchy well done on your 30, keep on truckin now wont ya.
    Cy day 3 myself and it has been a tough on. One of those when the mood wasnt great and little things kept going wrong to further infuriate. One of those days when you can feel the need growing to what is usually an inevitable conclusion. Thankfully I copped onto my self in time. Just had a cuppa and a cake and getting into my slops now so I wont change my mind and go out in an hour. Bugger this bloody addiction, not enjoying this one little bit. Need to keep this feeling fresh in mind for the next time, probably tomorrow.
    Ok self pity party over with, could do with some silliness. Wot yis got?

    edit: actually its day 4 :goodjob::new:

            Well I am having email issues today with a clients email address that I need to use, which in itself is a long story, but its a third party server and very unreliable. Not great when trying to do business, its enough to drive you drink some days hahaha.

                ODAT for now Tips I reckon. If I say 30 then my pickled brain thinks day 31 will be earmarked for a 'lets get sloshed day'. This first week is proving tough going but I am ok and wont drink tonight. Strange there are spirits in the press which have been there for 10+ years, some of them and I never even think about touching them. Tis puzzling but I am thankful.

                        Wassa press?

                        Feck. I even stooped to neat Grappa straight from the bottle once. For breakfast. Revolting. It had survived in a cupboard for about 2 years.

                            My problem exactly - I last played at school. He had to remind me about a couple of the rules.

                            Now the youngest is upset because "daddy doesn't want to do anything with me".... Bloody hell... I suggested a game of dominoes. She wanted a round of bloody Monopoly. Women, I tell you!

                              I used to hide the chess set under the settee in case my two started playing before their Dad came in (yes the DNA tests were in by then), in case they started arguing.

                              Mind I also hid all the balls in Hungry Hippo cos I kept loosing.

                                Ahhhhhhhh... In Afrikaans it is a hoekkas - literally corner cupboard.

                                Hoek = corner

                                Kas = cupboard / cabinet
