right been to the bank to get my money for our chips.
BTW my Sin in Law who is sort of in charge of loads of chain stores says they have to pay the shop assistants much more in the Irish stores as the cost of living is so high.

Do I need a bank loan for this meal or will we be going to the chippy? I could bring us all a meal deal from Boots when I leave Liverpool at 7 on Sunday morning??

Wow! It has turned into the most stunning winter day in Cape Town. It's cool outside, but the sun is out and there is hardly a breeze. I had to drag myself indoors and to my desk. In typical CT fashion, the weekend is likely to be cold and wet again :upset:

There's this little joke: what comes after two days of rain in Cape Town? Answer: Monday.

I'm having my lunch while catching up with a few threads. Chicken mayo & crispy bacon bits on wholewheat. Yum. I'll need to pop out again to go and hunt down something sweet for afters, I reckon.

Speaking of weather looks like you got back in time Molly, rain has just started. It is lovely around here alright, not called 'the garden of Ireland' for nothing. Prefer West Cork myself for scenery but mustn't grumble

I was doing great this morning but the 'weekend feeling' has arrived and with it my 'oh a few beers would be nice' thoughts. Not going to though, off to book tickets for cinema for DW & I for tonight, they dont serve booze there.
