For those of you who know Techie and his alter ego Sarge, you'll be aware that he's been AWOL for a while. The Undies tracked him down and apparently he's been in an accident and this is what he reports:
"Yup, I got myself somewhat broken. Both legs, one knee, and one shoulder. Reminds me of the George Thorogood song, One Bourbon, one scotch, and one beer. I?m in a rehab now. I should be 99% in the next few weeks. I gotta tell you the Saab saved my life. It was so scary. I was on the East Side Drive coming out of the city. There was a flat bed truck ahead of me. The truck hit a bump, and a unsecured piece of lumber flew into my window. I hit a pillar on the road. All I remember is wood, blood, and the EMT?s PLEASE let the community know that I love them and that I?ll be back soon."
May we all wish him a speedy and complete recovery. He can't access MWO at the moment but hopefully he'll soon be able to read our good wishes and messages of support.
