HERE WE GO 30 DAYS AF IN JUNE

Count me in! Today is day 6 AF, and I would LOVE to say that June was AF on July 1st.

Drifty- I totally agree with you - to take it one minute, one hour, one day - whatever it takes.

I have a plan for tonight. I will worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes.

My plan for tonight - get through work, go home and make dinner, take DS to swimming lessons and then come home and walk the dog - instead of opening up a bottle of wine!
        ODAT!

Yes Tipplerette you and everyone else. The more the merrier!

Tipplerette I used to mod as well and although I did pretty good near the end, I was having some minor slip ups. So I went AF and I am loving it. BTW your not late in my books since its June 1st here.

Shell It feels good helping out and good on you for doing it!

Tapdancer welcome and here to making June your AF month! You can do it!

Keepwalking Having a month AF can be a big challenge, but by taking it a day at a time, it won't seem so big and it is doable.

Determinator Sounds like a great plan!
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

Tipplerette, don't ever feel embarassed. I tried modding too. Would even do well for a few weeks, but it always resulted in a drunk. What finally made me throw in the towel with modding is I couldn't think of one good reason to have even one drink. One drink does nothing and is a waste of calories. Two drinks messes up my sleep, and it just gets worse from there. Welcome to our group. We're all pulling for you!!

Blues Dancer. . .amen! That is exactly where I am on my journey right now. Booze is a waste of my time! Let the drinkers have it, I don't want any more!

Hey Daisy, way to go on your 16 days and yes it does feel good that we all are going for the same goal. It is helpful as well since we can use each other to help one another. I went to have an after dinner treat at a restaurant/bar and I stayed af. It was easy too since I have been there and stayed af other times so I knew that I could do it and there wasn't even pressure to drink. Now I look forward for tomorrow to be af. Going to a meeting with my voc rehab person to help look for jobs plus look for a new pair of summer shoes. Life is great being AF.

Still June 1st here in the west! I am going to try really hard for an AF June - managed 22 in April and 15 in May - so close but no banana! Day 4 today, so starting well - have some big temptations in June, so it will not be easy - but I really want to do this! thanks for the enthusiasm here - we will all get each other thru!
