i have been under my usual rock. stuff to tell you?
mmmmm....it rained a bit. we got started with our seeding program. add in : beagle trapped in house, cooking, cleaning, waiting for 2-way (radio) requests for machinery shiftage.

Oh well ... guess by registering my objection to the treatment of the cattle in Indonesian abattoirs I'm one of those animal libber bastards. I've been called worse. Good to see you, Beags.

So Undies ... any special plans for the last long weekend for yonks? Normal one for me - with the addition of House Guest who is still no problem and hasn't annoyed me yet. In fact, it's been quite pleasant to sit in companionable silence.

Bought the Stephen Fry autobiography ... delightful reading. Gotta love a pommy intellectual.

Manchego cheese and ham toasties with a side of dill pickles.

tawny & happy : by all means speak up for the animals - have done my entire life, yes i objected vehemently to the horrible acts inflicted.....but just to let you know that an entire ban on the industry is NOT the answer - there are many abbatoirs over there doing the right thing, so now not only are thousands of jobs on the line, thousands of aussie families income buggered, but the Indos who don't have refridgeration for meat will ALSO be penalised for this.....
...it makes my blood boil. the CRUELTY as well as the REACTIONS of our so-called government. what tripe.
try being a primary producer for a while, senators, see how them apples feel.
