        Whats Dana day?

        Hi there Happy,

Dana is a Sanskrit and Pali word that means "generosity" or "giving." It refers specifically to taking delight in giving , getting in touch with our natural generosity and wish to share. The first Sunday of each month my Buddhist group bring along food to share, and a contribution towards our monk's living expenses. As a lot of them are Asian, we get to sample the scrummiest food, whilst I usually contribute Tim Tams, rice paper rolls or milo on buttered bread!
It's a great way to get together and chat and network, and of course it's a sneaky way to have people hang around for the committee meeting. I am lucky. I now say, sorry long drive home, OOOROO.

A thief in Paris planned to steal some Paintings from the Louvre.

After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings, and made it safely to his van.

However, he was captured only two blocks away when his van ran out of gas.

When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then make such an obvious error, he replied, 'Monsieur, that is the reason I stole the paintings.'

                Tawny,
Lurve the slabs of wood your cheese and olives are sitting on.

Vacuuming.................. been putting it off for 2 weeks! Carpet is looking pretty grotty so I HAVE to do it tomorrow as on Tuesday Integral Ennergy is going to fix up the next kilometre of poles and insulators so I'll have no leccy from 8:30 till 4:00pm Tuesday. Maybe I could tell Mr Rags I tried to do the housework then......

Reggie, Can I have a go of your beautiful treehouse?

I was wearing some ebay apparel today! One person paid $$$$ for it new, I paid a fraction of it, and love it. Oh and I love a bargain. When it's on sale and I love it, sometimes I have to buy multiples. I now hide the books I bring home that were to cheap to not buy, so that hubs doesn't get upset that I have not read much on the kindle. Ridiculous I am!

Hey, thanks for the de-pilling tip with the razor Kaz, Jude and TF. Makes sense to me.

Beeeeeauwdiful chopping boards there TF, and the cheeses and olives? Maaaagnificent. I bet you could put together some serious chopping boards from wood hanging around in the bush.
