Saucy - how's the dicky knee today? Haven't seen the fox again but I wouldn't forgive myself if he got them because I forgot to lock them up. There's no way I could have had chooks when I was still hitting the piss big time. Would have forgotten them every single night. Re the coffee - I bought one of those Nespresso Pod machines and love love love it.

Heaps better thanks froglet, I am walking around and it is just stiff and a little sore, so thank dog not the full job on it which would have been a nightmare being trapped in the house. Will re think activities so I can stay mobile. Dont know how Techie did his time when he was out of action...I am so impatient.

We've got some Italian contraption via ebay. The Nespresso Pod's look good but then again so does George Clooney...

Whats on for everyone today?? I've got locusts making me eggs so thats sorted. They ate weet-bix in my bed so i am still picking out crumbs.

Yep Aspy, i think The Sauce suggested the eggs and veg on toast, but poached if i remember?

A marvellous day here. A noice long easy run, then picked up a second hand crock pot thing for yer bigger casseroles/soups etc. on the cool down walk home. Got it from an 'Opp shop' chain store here called 'Savers'. Do youse have them interstate? Anyway, it's a real solid ceramic thing, pretty big, but at $7.99 for a $80 pot new, i do feel a little ripped orf. I'm sure i'd get a similar beewdy for 4 bucks at some op shop out in the suburbs. What a whinger.

Choc soy's in the freezer (titrated down to 795 mls per sitting, from 1000 mls previously. check my website for stat's/history/graphs), guitar is out, and i've just almost burnt me vegies i was boiling. They're kind of roast vegies now. Noice.

Evening Undies,
Been doing a bit of reading back.
Lovely sunset photo sunshine. I was in Darwin a few years back watching the sunset. A Swiss couple were nearby and after the sun set started to walk away. I said no, wait 7 minutes. They did........ what a beautiful afterglow!

Sorry to hear about all the knee injuries. I've had 3 arthroscopies so far and no room for any more.



Went to seeMr Rags' dad. He is not good. Told him it's good to see our tax dollars hard at work in the hospital.
Mr. Rags took me to dinner in Sinny afterwards and gave me a pressy as its my birthday termorrer.

Took some dinner pics. Will download them and get them up in 30 mins or so. Got to get the camera and do all the minimising things to get it on photobucket etc etc etc.

Will also put up some pics that one of the guys took in Palau.

TECHIE! You're home!! I am reading a Bill Bryson book at the moment and he's talking about Lake Wenham 15 miles up from Boston. It is where ice for first commerciall use came from. Some was shipped to London and put on display. Queen Victoria was their first overseas customer! So of course I will have to have a look at it whenever I am in the US again.

Yep, poached is best Aspy but as no one else poaches in this house I have had fried the last 3 days and it still works a treat. Lovely salty vegemite and eggs, makes me happy!

Steal on the crockpot Mr G! I actually picked up bags of "slow cooker veges" in coles today in the fresh vege section, potato and leek in this case and thought I'd do soup for the FIL when he arrives tomorrow which leads me to:

GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD time!

He's not coming now for 2 weeks. And then for the week Mr Happs has orf and with MIL and then to his sister for 5 days and then he is minding the locusts for 2 nights and then home after a 4 day stay. I know that sounds complicated, I know I am an ungrateful b-i-t-c-h but I suspect I will be healthier for this scenario than the other, if you know what I mean. Also suspect MIL hand in this, she caught the whiff of depression on last skype maybe. Families are so bloody complicated arent they?

Happy Early Birthday Rags! WOOT WOOT!

I started my morning by being woken by a phone call from a sick employee.
Had to get straight to work and get stuff done since I was alone.
5 more days of work to go til a day off.

I don't know about Vegemite really, I think you would have to grow up with it to like it.
Am addicted to honey macadamia nut bars covered in yogurt.
Hubs is making veggie burgers with cayenne seasoning. I love that he does most of the cooking.

Love Litchfield NP. Helped the ranger put out a bit of a fire there while I was at Litchfield. We rescued a nake trying to get away from the flames.
