    Happy Sunday late afternoon - and Happy AF unhungover Monday tpo those whose day is starting - I now have a week under my belt and moving on to a month!
    Blonde, Hills, Sunshine, Jude and SofbeingS - thanks for the strong messages of support. I still find it weird that I cannot talk to my parents, brother, best friends about my problems, and all of you who I don't actually know - and proabably never will, now know me better than anyone! It is a big relief to share and get positive messages back - I know I will get thru this and come out stronger at the other end - after all what doesn't kill us makes us stronger - right!
    I spend a part of today watching Rain in my Heart from the post here - it put me in a very saddened reflective mood, which probably needed to happen to make sure that I really knew what I am in the middle off - all of us are chosing to live and not chosing to die - oh my!
    I love all the messages of people enjoying the world - butterflies here, birds and fireworks on another post.
    Thanks to all, and congratulations to teh choices you are making and thereby helping me along in mine - you are all superstars!

      Hey Jude...yah, it's rustic, all right. No running water or terlet, yet. We're getting there, though. It's in a nicely wooded area...the house isn't visible until you're right up on it. Enough open space for a lovely veg garden...small trickle of a stream running through it. Rock out-croppings. Driftless area. Tons of Jack-in-the-pulpit, black berries, wild roses, hepatica, wild geranium...so far. Indigo buntings, turkeys, turkey vultures, blue jays, wood peckers ($#^$!), thrushes, blue birds, etc. Way more birdage than I'm used to in town. Maybe you can travel here for our meet-up when I get the place de-smelevated!

            Hi everybody!
            Finally got the internet turned back on! Had some glitches going on here all day... Frustrating!
            Been thinking about everyone & wanting to check in, but the darn "hell" box wouldnt let me get online.:upset:

            Got a bit of sun between the clouds today, so I got some color, & got a bunch of plants in te dirt.
            Soon to have fresh grape tomatoes, basil, jalepenos,& cilantro, on the deck (already have strawberries, spinach, spearmint, thyme, oregano)
            Will get more tomatos, corn, zucchini, & more peppers planted in te yard tomorrow.
            It's so pretty out there right now w/all the rhodedendrons blooming,(red, purple, bright pink) There must be @ least 15 rhodies here on the property where I'm staying, also lots of ground cover flowers, & lots of wild ones in bloom as well. It's a nice piece of acreage.
            Thank God for good friends...:h

            As I'm typing this I can hear Elton John singing "Empty Garden" in the background...

              Hi all!

              St. Jude, sounds like you have a bumper crop of veggies going...I am envious! I never had a knack for growing veggies but my neighbor is way into it and likes to share. I give her baked goods all year as an investment in veggies shares, ha ha. I do love flower gardening and just plain making things look pretty darn it. This year I'm into container gardening and learning about interesting designs attained with that since my soil is so bad and I get tired of digging! Also, you can do some pretty funky things with containers and I have learned the basics of the three keys to the plants in the container for the best visual effect: The Thriller (tall plant, usually in the middle, kind of showy), the Filler (something to fill in and give volume to the pot) and the Spiller (the viney things that creep over the sides and trail). Anyway, great job on all of your edibles. It's so satisfying to eat something that you grew with your own two hands. I do dabble in some herbs...manage not to kill those but I guess they are kind of easy afterall!

              ScottishLass-Congrats on a week and moving into yet another. Glad you are staying strong and staying sober! I'm on Day 4, almost 5, and feeling on top of the world. Looking forward to a great start of the week and I wish the same for you and everyone here!

              That is quite an amazing photo of a moth I must say. Check out the detail on the antennas et all! Thanks for posting! That there is some sweet pollenator, let us sing his praises!

                I like baked goods too ...

                My friend has a bunch of big containers here on his deck (which goes around 2 sides of the house, lots of room!) So a bunch of the herbs & peppers, as well as the little grape tomatos are going to be staying right on the deck, just outside the kitchen door. Real handy!
                I'll be cooking naked here pretty soon! Just need a little more sunshine,... not really any neighbors in view...

                  well really good morning one and all ... just sitting here having my first cup of strong coffeee.. getting ready for today.. i really dont have anything to do but work on the FUCKING TRUCK.. i can probly put this truck together blind folded now .. with all the time i and money i have spend on it ..:upset:. but anyway just want to wish everyone a bless day ... stay strong and keep shifting forward and thinking positive :l:h:

                    Good Monday morning everyone, I hope that all is well. A full week ahead for me, but not too many things after work. I think it will be a good week to start building a new fence along the one side of my yard. Big hockey game tonight, go Canucks!

                        Well, just a quick hello to all with their asses in gear and headed in the right direction. Day 5 for me so I know I'm on the right train...or maybe truck once TLRGS gets it on the road (best of luck by the way...sorry it has been such a pain in the butt!).
