Hi everybody
Just poppin in for a "quickie"

Had oral surgery on Weds... Feels like the Grand Canyon in my mouth!

I thought the dentist was gonna put his foot on my shoulder to wrench that sucker outa there

Just kinda hanging out w/the critters & being lazy.

Of course it's beautiful weather now... I should be out on the river paddling. But probably not a good idea,...going alone & taking painkillers, (I have been cutting them in 1/2 tho), but I don't have an appetite, so not much food the past few days. That's OK, bikini season is just around the corner. Don't wanna scare the tourists too much, when I get out on the river.

I'm off to pull some more weeds...

Judie, I was wondering about your sweet self! No, don't go alone, pain killers or not! I love river floats. My MIL has been on the tubing trip through town near our cabin, twice, and she raves about how much fun she had, even at 85. You can't hurry a river! We had a tragedy last weekend when a tubing company didn't pay attention to the dam release schedule on the Chattahoochee, and a 9-yr-old girl was caught in the rapids after a scheduled release. Sometimes we have to take our safety into our own hands, and not trust the 'experts' in it to make a buck.
Bird, bring the dang cat. I'll keep the dogs at bay. And ask your neighbors to water that garden a bit. Promise them tomatoes! We are a totally animal friendly household. Hubs misses his garden when we're away. You and I can take your chicklets tubing down the river. It's only neck-deep at the deepest point, more of a slow, lazy float. I wish you'd truly think about staying longer. Hubs cut all the grass down creekside, and it's beautiful down there, but you need bug spray for sure! The mosquitoes love it there. And you can tube for free for miles, on my and my neighbor's property. Oh, and ya'll can catch our supper!! Are your girls looking at any colleges yet? I can highly recommend N. Georgia State College and University, in nearby Dahlonega. Where daughter started out, and met SIL. Beautiful area, small college without a lot of partying, and part of the University system.

Ruby, I cannot come because of my garden coming in like it is, almost more than Paul and I can handle! I am planning on coming in Sept though! I hope all that works out for us! What about MB and Sunni? Aren't they suppose to be coming? I know how proud you are of your cabin and how sweet you are to wanna share it. Well, I didn't have much to put up in the garden today, and it was only 98 degrees today, so I decided to clean out my freezer! Not one of my better thoughts, but we got it done, so I can keep all my veggies organized! Bird, so good to see you and Jude, I am with Ruby, don't go anywhere while on pain pills. The river looks awesome! I can see why you love it! I love you all, Vicki

Sunni says she can't come because of Ben, and with MB's current situation, I don't know. So, everyone has an invite, but I give up trying to organize a get-together. Planning way in advanced didn't work, enticing with pics didn't work, so I'll just wait and join in if someone else tries to get us together. You're all welcome, depending on my schedule, but I'm going, and I'll be fighting wasps and cutting around the creek all on my own. I'm not whining. I'm used to doing things on my own, me and TMB, who always watches my back, front, and sideways! I might hire some locals to help me clear the path straight down to the stream (Chicamaugua Creek) and I'll start building my path, cutting pine saplings and making hand rails, moving the natural rock to make wide stepping paths. Anyhoos, I'll be fine, I'm used to this stuff. And I know everyone has so much going on in there lives. If you can come, let me know. I'll be there from 6/23-7/6. An old friend and family from Maylasia are coming on July 3rd. Take care, everyone. May be away a bit.

ruby you sound alittle pissed in that post and i hope you arent too disapointed ... .. lets just take it one day at a time and see how things go... who knows things might change for everyone ... and well as for me i cant go anywhere .. need to built up the money and find work yeah im going to work for a company but only when they need me as part time and i would jump at a full time job right now ..
.. but hey take it easy young lady and dont push yourself and make sure you are taking your meds and EATING FOOD YOU SHINNY THING ..

Hunny I'm home.....much better day today. I got in to work and grabbed my assistants hand and we had a good long prayer ...be thankful for what we have and give the rest to God. She got misty and said that felt cool......so we decided to practice positive thoughts and not let the flying monkeys get us down.
Rubes...I doubt I will be there. I am heartbroken, but I don;t think I can swing it financially right now. DONT BE MAD
Vicki...I want some cucumbers and maters too!!!

Hallo everyone - have been reading through - mum is watching a DVD. I am so enjoying having her here - we haven't been doing a whole lot of anything much but the time is going by SO quickly!!! Both daughters came over and R brought the Grands. That really was fun - mum took them round the garden and had them smelling the flowers. Today we went and were helping my eldest move !!! well, mum occupied the little one while I lugged boxes! SO hot here - thank goodness for AC!

I am so pleased all is going well - Rog, so sorry for your problems with the truck = hopefully work will turn up and you will get enough cash to pay for the truck. Jan - I love you girl and hope things work out. :l:l Vicki - thank you for your BIG post for Jan and me !!! LOL Love all your produce too - my garden is so tiny compared to yours - it is a joke !! Ruby - dear OLD Ruby - I am so sorry that your plans have fallen through again - we would all really love to come, but with work and money for the most of us, it just isn't possible. For me it is the dogs and now time off work - I have used so much already this year. Plus I can't bring the dogs and can't leave them. And don't have enough leave left. America is too big. If it wasn't so far it would be easier for all of us. it isn't that we don't want to visit you my friend - I am sure we would all jump at the chance if it was nearer for us. Please don't be upset will you.

Fen - I will probably be in touch tomorrow, but a Happy Birthday early!! I look forward to seeing you on Monday!!!
