My life is of course just utter madeness. Have to make a list first thing a 6:30-7 AM when I roll out of bed. Had a long talk with my cousin again today. She told me I seemed like the only person who cared, understood, her. Not bragging on me, it's just it takes so little to help someone, and really mean something in their life. She's really a wonderful person.

Good morning everyone, I hope that you are doing it. It is Thursday, the weekend is coming! I have a fishing derby tonight, with the guys and some gals that I work with, should be fun. Although it is going to rain all day and evening, oh well. We are fishing for laketrout. It's going to be a late night. I used to drink a lot of beers on this excursion. I am so glad those days are over. I have no interest in that any more. Having a great time yes.

Sunshine, you are so positive, and so right - there is always next game.
Biz, sorry to hear about the dog bite, sounds painful.
Ruby, hang in there, I am sure things will level out between you two in a few days.

Hi all,

It made me feel so good just logging in and reading your latest posts and seeing that most of you are still there posting away... Wow, just amazing!

I have been down and out for a very long time and I just needed a little "pick me up" so, I thought of all you guys out there fighting the same demon and then I remembered I'm not alone!

Depression makes me want to isolate myself and God knows how I make it through the day sometimes, - but my being stubborn has helped in not giving up completely.

I could definitely use your guys' helping hand and loving support.

Fen, I do have one somewhere. Will try to find and scan it. I also did a garden theme in Mad's room, painted a picket fence then attached it to a real picket section. Insane ex-DIL painted over it all within six months.

Good Morning everyone. A little late for me this morning - have been lazing around! I had planned on weeding this morning, but...well, you know how that goes! Rog - thanks for asking - I am fine. Things have calmed down now mum has gone - almost back to normal although youngest is here now, - I am busy with trying the keep the weeds under control in the garden! Work carries on as usual - life is good!! I feel so badly for all those here that are struggling so though. I wish I could do something to help.

Melissa - nice to see you here, as Rog and Ruby said - we are here, and it is always good to have that support. Hang in there - I know what you mean about hiding away when you get depressed. I do it and I know of a couple of others here that do it too - that is when you need to post most of all. Hugs to you. :l

Jan - you are really going through the wringer - hope that the money does work out with the IRS - Brett is doing well with it to have got it this far! Many hugs my friend :h:l

Ruby - hope that you and Hubs are getting along better. I really do know how it goes!! And it does pass - as you know.

Fen and ruby - the murals sound wonderful - I have always wanted murals on my walls but have no artistic talent whatsoever. I shall have to commission one or both of you!!

Hill - fishing - in the rain? That sounds like SO much fun :H I would really love to join you, but I have a root canal planned that i would rather do. LOL

Vicki - I hope that you are taking note of what all your family here are saying about what you need to be doing re Paul and his (AL induced) gout and that you need his help too - you are not good health wise and he should be looking after you my dear!! It makes me tired just hearing about your constant on the go! I hope that you manage to get a break and REST. Please?

Good morning, family! I was so tired this morning, I could have slept all day! The insurance adjuster rang the doorbell at 8:00, says we have several thousand of dollars worth of damage. We hate to make a claim as we will probably get dropped afterwards, but oh, well, gotta have the money to fix it all. MB, I hope you had a happy 20th anniversary! Don't feel bad, we didn't even go out to eat! I am praying that you can get all your money back from the IRS! You really need a break! Hello and welcome, Melissa! Has anyone been in touch with Grateful? I'm truly missing her, and worried about her too.
Read some bizarre news stories this AM. One was the 'JackAss' series 'start' who killed himself and a passenger, crashing his car at speeds up to 140, and with a BAC twice the legal limit.
Another was the 51 year old actor (the slimey little guard from The Green Mile) who married a 16 year old 'model' in California. (Her parents gave permission.) He's older than her parents!
And the guy who set up everything in his life, then 'robbed' a bank of $1, to be put in jail for the medical treatment he needs.
Oh, and the place in California now selling deep-fried Kool-Aide!!
Just too bizarro, huh?

Sun, when I was with my ex, I painted a wonderful mural on my bedroom wall. It was a moonlit meadow with a large tree in the middle of the whole scene. Lots of creatures and flowers in it. I had also stenciled in the winter sky constellations on the ceiling in glow-in-the-dark paint and brought some of the stars down to blend in with the mural. It was really one of the most enchanting scenes. After we split, and ex went to sell the house, the realtor advised her not to paint over the mural, as she felt it would be a selling point!

Fen, things done with love reflect our feelings, are always the best. I've sold mostly commisioned works, haven't had time to stockpile the other stuff.
Yes things have been a bit dismal and depressing around the homeplace lately. I think (I KNOW!) I'm tired of the same old, plus having the ever-present watchers. There are so many things I would have managed differently, that would have put us in a different setting, but that's the past. So now, it's the future to focus on. Trying hard to be upbeat about it, but Hubs got the negative, abyssmal gene from his parents. Like being sucked into a whirlpool. No worries, I have my own plans. And I have nothing to complain about, compared to all the other stories from my friends here. I'll deal with it.
