Wow, thanks to all, and especially Jen for noticing and starting the thread.
I can tell that I will make many "friends" on here, its almost like being in a community of instant friends. Im sure its the shared experience we have of trying to get the monkey off our backs.
Ive only been here about a month, but spend a LOT of time on here, reading all the well thought out and insightful posts.
I have picked up many good tid bits of info, and techniques I am using to help cope with cravings and desires.
I keep hearing that someday the Alcoholic Voice or Alky brain will become less and less powerful....that is my next wish.
I spent 20 years everynight pacifying the AV, so its pretty strong.....
It is so nice to hear words of encouragement, I have sort of kept this from my friends, but have just wanted to shout from the mountain tops what I have done.
So, thanks again to all, your words speak volumes!!!!
