    Isn't it nice....

    to be sober at 10pm on a Saturday night?

    Mr. Wonderful had taken the Ferrari to the shop at the high school (about 15 minutes away) and nobody had heard from him since lunch time. It was past 10pm when I started wondering and worrying. Phoning wasn't an option since he wouldn't hear it in the shop. So, I hopped into my truck and went to check on him. All is well and he was just getting ready to leave.

    This is how 'normal' people live, no?
    Okay, WHO put a stop payment on my reality check?

    Hi Sunni,

    It certainly is nice to function like a normal person again

    I have my 2 1/2 year old grandson staying with me for the weekend. This never would have happened if I was still poisoning myself with AL. I wouldn't trade this for anything in the world

    So glad all is going well with you!

      Yes gg it is lovely to have the patience to live a normal sober life, less anxiety, more in control, happier all around.Long may it continue.

        yep gg, i was thinking the very same thing last night. out with dogs a 10.30 on a lovely evening sober
        Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine
