Just a Honda civic. They are good solid cars with great mpg. Already been on route 66 twice. It's kinda a sad place! X

I've been checking a webcam that's in Dublin and from what I've seen over the past few hours, the rain had let up even tho' it was still cloudy. But people were walking around without umbrellas so I gathered that the rain had stopped. Oh, just took another peek and it looks like the sky has cleared and they've got a blue sky with big puffy white clouds. Not that rain would put much of a damper on those crazy loons but it would make it a little harder to enjoy outside activities. I can just imagine what dinner is going to be like. Madness. And lots of it...:H

                            Hiya, Stirly.

I also imagined I was hearing my own voice echoing

Did you have a good weekend?

We were a bunch of lazy feckers today, just grazing leftovers and lounging about. Lovely!

I was supposed to get lots and lots done. I did do three loads of laundry and grocery shopping. The usual dusting and dust mopping. (Freddie sheds a lot) I did managed to cook a decent meal both yesterday and today and to clear enough space in the storage room so Mr. Stirly could get the hardtop off my little car. Stirly's "Beba" will be topless til November....

We want details of the party - food, etc. Sounds like you had a wonderful time if you're already planning to have more parties.:goodjob:

Driving around topless sounds fantastic, Stirly. Although I would probably be too self-conscious

Sorry - I was shopping online - we received a whole bunch of vouchers for our birthdays.

We had a variety of cheeses & crackers with preserves. Blue, camembert, brie, mature cheddar, goat's cheese, a Dutch Boerenkaas with cumin, all sorts of nuts, samoosas, spring rolls, peri-peri chicken wings. Toasted baguette slices with cream cheese & salmon. Those were the snacks.

Then a chicken biryani with sambal and a veg curry with basmati & raita for mains.

Selection of cupcakes, choc fudge pecan cake, carrot cake & lemon meringue.

I even got it spot-on with my wine selection, apparently :H:H:H
