    Army Thread 6 June 2011

    Good morning!

Not many clouds about and not too hot either so it could be a good day for gardening and getting stuff done.

Good to hear everyone has been enjoying themselves in Dublin and well done Mrs A with the marathon! :goodjob:

Ooops - I got the date wrong! ops!:

I copied and pasted from yesterday's thread and forgot to edit the date.

And it won't let me delete the post cos it's the first post in the thread. :upset:

I should be in Lalaland right now Reccie, but I'm in Canada. It's just past midnight. You?

I'm in the UK, RC. I thought you might be across the pond cos it's only 5am here and I wasn't expecting many people to be up and about yet over here.

It seems a bit early but Tips and Starts seem to be early birds. They'll be along shortly. Are you just getting up or pulling an all nighter Reccie?

It's an all nighter, unfortunately. I can't sleep at a sensible time without consuming large amounts of AL and I'm sober at the moment.

Sorry you can't sleep but good on you being sober! Lot's of natural remedies for sleep--just have to take enough. I like 5HTP best 100mg a go. I find a protein drink before bed is good too.

Just googled it. It seems to be available over the counter in the UK, so I'll give it a go. Thanks!

You should ask if it's from Griffonia Seed to make sure it's safe. I forgot now what the harmful factor was called in some of the cheaper products that were marketed a few years ago. They may not even be in the market now. I am off now Reccie. Hope someone comes along soon. Lot's of bedtime reading here until then. Nice chatting.

Good night, RC - hope you sleep well.

Good on you for being sober, Reccie!

How's the garden coming along? Did you plant some bamboo so you don't need to go to Tesco's so often?
