    Same old same old.

No bother with the flight, we had three seats between us and actually bought a cup of coffee to share. He's gone to friggingtesco.

You do seem to have a lot of friggingtescos in Ireland.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

        Hiya Army!!!

Good to see you got back okay Jackie, dear.

Mrs. A, I reckon you could be in the Olympics at the rate you're going. :goodjob:

Molly, late risers remind me of my kid's teen years - late teens, early twenties, that is. Sometimes I'd peek in their rooms to see if they were still alive or not and the smell would be terrible. They'd be dead asleep with their mouths open and the "stale beer and souvlaki-breath" would be so thick you could cut it with a knife. :yuk:

If it's any consolation to you fine peeps and the lousy weather you've got today, it's

        in Stirly-World as well....

Well done Mrs A and welcome back Jackie.

Still not got your immersion heater sorted Molly?

We've actually got a tiny bit of rain today, but I want the big sploshy rain that JC had over in Ireland so the garden can get a good soaking.

I think my memory is deteriorating alarmingly cos I've been forgetting things all day long today. :upset: Keep going into a room to do one thing and end up doing something completely different. Can never remember now whether I've fed the cat or not so I have to give her the benefit of the doubt and feed her in case I've not done it. I'm sure the little bugger is taking advantage!

Hiya stirly Not at work today?

:wavin: Reccie. Nope, the business is closed today. We work 7:30 am to 4 pm. weekdays only. The only stores open on Sunday in Athens are restaurants and convenience stores and such. All regular stores including supermarkets are closed. The only shops allowed open are the ones in the tourist areas such as the Plaka in Athens. And here where we are they may open if they want to since it's the second largest port for passenger boats so it's considered a tourist area as well.

Reccie - forgetting what you went to do is a normal thing for most people. Usually we have several things on our mind at once and so we might be thinking of something else the second we go to do something and forget what it was. As for feeding the cat, how about when you get up in the morning (or whatever time it is), when you're getting your breakfast things ready, get the cat food out and then when you've fed her, put it back in the cupboard or fridge. I do that when I'm cooking so I know if I've put an ingredient in or not. Line up all the things on the counter and then put them away or aside as soon as I've used them. Works for me anyway...

Well, they have an Olympics and a Winter Olympics and a Paralympics, so I don't see why they couldn't have an Oldies Olympics for people over, say 50, and Mrs A could enter that and she'd probably get a gold medal!

There are a lot of older people who are in fabulous shape and I'm sure they'd love something like that.

:H:H Don't worry about it. Now if you forget your name, then you'll have something to worry about.

                    Hiya Panno!!!

Molly, those "twin" showers that you and Zen have had me laughing so hard. Especially when Zennie described her friends coming over to advise her on how to put it together and no one could figure it out. :H:H
Too bad about the food you forgot in the oven. You must have been really, really nervous about having guests to have forgotten them...

                        Afternoon all!

Finally got back to sleep but think i am up for the rest of the day!!!

You will be pleased to hear that it rained yesterday in Nj and only got to 74. It was pretty chilly last night.

So today, I haven't got much planned!!! Think I will go to chapel (to count my blessings) and do some work and chill. Might get a run in later.

                        Xx

Well, I don't actually eat breakfast stirly, but I get the cat food out of the cupboard not long after I get up and feed her and put it back in the cupboard again and then an hour later she will be miaowing insistently and I'll have forgotten whether I've fed her and feed her again just in case. This never used to be a problem so I think I'll have to start keeping a written record, otherwise she's gonna start putting on weight and I'm not too keen on fat cats.

Wasn't it tho'. I had a good laugh at the end when they all put their awnings back down. I wonder how many times a day a train goes through there. And they've got crates that the train passes right over - low enough that the trains don't touch them. And you're right Zennie - they're all so blase about it.
