Sounds delicious. I have just had homemade mango chicken with a big salad and pears for pudding.
I will be hitting the chocolate in about 30minutes.
    Have a great evening everyone.
Was supposed to do one of my fave runs this evening but too knackered to cross the door.

How's the diet Jacks? Just finished off leftover hotpot and rubbing my tummy I'm so fullOh good, food porn again. Wot's a hotpot Molly?
Actually, I'd put in my year of birth as seven years after the real one so even if I was celebrating my birthday a couple of months earlier, I would still be seven years younger...

Sounds like you had a tiring day Mrs. A if you're too tired to run. Sounds like a relaxed evening is needed....

            Hi ExPatty.

We live about 40 kilometres from the centre of Athens so we're far away from the protests. It breaks my heart when I see the reports on TV and see the damage the rioters have done to our city. And especially at the peak of our tourist season. The pictures have gone round the world and there have been many cancellations of hotel rooms in the middle of the city. There were some poor, badly frightened tourist leaving their hotels yesterday that got caught in the middle of things. Poor souls were running along dragging their suitcases behind them, trying to get away from the ruckus. Luckily, none of them were hurt but you can be sure that they will not be visiting Athens and perhaps Greece again, nor will they recommend a holiday here to any of their friends. Unfortunately, the people who cause the rioting don't ever stop to think how much their actions affect the economy of this country which, as you all know, is in deep trouble at the moment. Stupid, narrow-minded people.

Sorry for being a downer, but I love this country and Athens is a city that everyone who can, should visit, if for nothing more that it's place in the history of civilization.

I posted awhile back about my problems with some French "protests"--which turned into burning cars, looting, general violence etc. I believe in the right of protesting but am sad when it gets ugly. But I don't think people will stop coming to France OR Greece! I know it won't stop me-I'd love to go back to Greece:h. Maybe soon..October school holidays maybe..

Hmm, I think I need to work on this.
