    Army Thread 18th June

    Good morning, Army

I have no idea why I'm up so early on a Saturday morning. Och well - not that it really matters. I'll just take a longer nanna nap before we're off to a friend's b'day get-together tonight. Quite an interesting couple: they were in a long-term relatuonship more than 20 years ago and only recently met again by chance. Sweet.

Mmmmm... Makes me wonder if Froglet will spring a surprise on us one of these days.

JC: good luck with all your preparations, but with all your lists, you should be fine.

Nothing specific planned for today, so I'll check out the weather forecast and see if it won't be possible to get the cubs out & about for a bit. Otherwise they'll drive me fecking nuts.
    I'll do whatever it takes

      Morning Army
I woke up early too Tips. I guess my body is just programmed to wake at this time. It's like I just can't sleep any later. But it is nice to know that I can have a nana nap later if I want.
Nothing special planned for today. The children are still sleeping-recharging their little batteries so they can drive me mad later. Hmm...Might go shopping . JC picked out a lovely floaty top for me . Maybe I can find something similar at the shops.

          Good morning Reccie & Expattie

I hate shopping, Expat. Mrs. T brings stuff home for me to try on. I think the last thing I bought myself was a 5-pack of Woolies underpants when I didn't get any for Father's Day a while back.

            Hello expatty.

I've never quite understood the concept of retail therapy. Going clothes shopping is my idea of hell!

You got off lightly there, Reccers

Poor Jackie has to recite a string of names by the time she usually floats in.

Hey - I just realised that I joined MWO two years ago today! Increible to think of all the people who crossed my path in that time. It's been quite a ride, and one I'm very grateful for.

Indeed. I was going to say the same thing, but you beat me to it! Anyway, speaking of shopping, I'm off out to buy the groceries before the supermarket becomes too crowded. Catch you later, hopefully.

It will soon be one year for me that I joined MWO. You are so right about how incredible it is-"all the people who crossed my path in that time". I am grateful too!:l It is sad though when people leave and we never get anymore news. You can't help but wonder how they are doing etc. I guess all we can do is hope they have found their way and are doing well.
