No - it wasn't a hit and run Molls - he was airlifted to hospital and is still in there as his car did not have air bags. I had to listen to him groan and moan for a hour while we were waiting on the ambulance to arrive and while the firemen were cutting him from his vehicle.

He may have been driving irratically about 20 mins before he hit me.

I am still goth on the inside too

          Good Morning All,

Oh dear Zeppie - so happy to hear you are relatively unscathed. I had a bad accident when I was younger and my toes still curl up when I'm approaching the back of a red car!

Hope everyone else is doing well - my tooth is really nagging and will make for a long day I'm sure. Funnily enough I struggle to get any work done on them due to aforementioned car accident as I smashed my jaw up so bad I can only open my mouth wide enough to just about eat these days!

not to really put you off dentists EW - but I went to the dental school when I was at uni to try and save money - anyhoo the trainee dentist pushed the needle so far into the roof of my mouth that she popped it up into my facial cavity numbing my eye so it wouldn't close.
They taped it shut and continued the work, then my jaw locked up and they had to get a specialist over to try and unlock it. Anyway the filling was done and I left with a mouth that would hardly open and an eye taped shut, as I was walking to my car I didn't see a speed bump that was at the entry to the car park and I tripped on it aggravating an old ankle sprain - I was a sorry sight

needless to say I dread going the the dentist still

Aww EW, you're goingto have to spend all day googling NHS dentists. I've got a great one and his practice is taking on new patients, might be a bit of a drive to Noocastle though.

              Oh BTW a

for knowing that I could have come here yesterday and know there were a good few lurkers about.

Y'have to admire the kid being individual tho I reckon Stirls, so many kids just slavishly copy their mates. I was shopping with my baby yesterday and my eyes boggled at the things he was picking up - a couple of years ago the first criteria with him would have been 'would shane/john/louis etc. wear this' - now he is brilliant - still in hoodies and trackies on a daily basis - but for a bit of razzle dazzle - really interesting!
I didn't realise it was a hit and run Zeppie, that's even worse - I truly hope they get the bastard. Would you not be able to get a car for 3000 dollars? You'd get a grand one here I think.I've seen pictures of you Molly - you defo have your own style and it's great. I always told my kids to be themselves and not copy others. Neither of them has any body peircing and we never had the blue and green streaked hair. Older son did get a tattoo last year to celebrate his birthday and it's a one of a kind since he designed it himself.

I still have one where I'm wearing a lovely red sweater set and have a slightly wavy beatle cut. My freckles were very vivid then and I had a small gap between my two front teeth which has since closed. My dentist said it closed because I talk so much. :H

Hey Jackie Claire. I didn't expect you for a while yet. Figured it would have taken you a while to fall asleep after all that coffee. Is the birthday boy back to work or still sleeping it off?

                  Yo Stirls,
It was after 2am when I got to sleep but I was determined to get the house mostly sorted out
before I went to bed and must have dropped off fairly quickly.

Birthday boy doesn't go back to work until tomorrow, he's lying in bed at the mo downing pints of water.

Every single bit of my body aches, I don't think I sat down for more than 5 minutes at a time over 10 hours.

EWEW, that's awful about your jaw. Try an anti-inflammatory for the toothache. An abscess could be causing it and that would put it right quickly enough. If it's not, you'll know because it will keep on hurting even after you've taken the pills. Tough trying to get work done on your teeth if you can't open your mouth.

Zeppie - that series of events would almost be comical if it wasn't true. How horrible. No wonder you don't like going to the dentist. I have a fab dentist thank dawg. My last dentist was a complete feck-up as far as I'm concerned. He used cheap dental supplies and always smelled of garlic even when wearing a mask. And in the little sink you have next to you that you spit into he had a toilet bowl block to keep it smelling nice. Made me feel like I was sitting next to a toilet every time I went to him.

Glad you got a good night's sleep. Sounds like you had a good time at the party otherwise you'd have been sitting in a corner bored to death.

Has anyone got any suggestions for getting the smell of boy farts and gin from of my downstairs.

Molly, I had no doubt either and told her so yesterday. It's simple - Jackie doesn't drink so I had no doubt that she wouldn't be even the slightest bit inclined to take even a small sip.
