Other mispronunciations, I learnt to read when I was very little - bout 3, but up till about 20 yrs ago, I thought an Ogre (in fairy tales) was an orge and my eldest son - almost 30 berated me not that long ago for letting him sing 'blah blah blacksheep' - course we thought it was so cute, we made it his party piece!
I know Molls, I was just pulling your leg about the food! I've had medicalish appointments coming out of my ears lately (another one tomorrow) and they make me all stressed out so I turn to the bottle afterwards :upset: and then people don't like it if I post drunk, so I don't.

Speaking about ogres and stuff, a long time ago my mother wrote a book called (deleted for privacy) and it was full of ogres and trolls. It was actually a very good book and it scared the shit out of me when I was little.

And now I've remembered that my brother used to think that the River Severn was the River Seven and the River Thames was the River Ten.

We recently had an advert for a Muesli Bar. It featured cows going "moooooooooosly" and sheep responding "baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Do you know, me favourite wee Pandaman,

In all the time you've been here I've never noticed you post drunk, I know you've had a few because you've told us but you go ever so polite.
Completely different to some who make rather odd posts, sometimes rather distressing posts. or some completely bizarre.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

I've mispronounced words in Greek a zillion times but the worst I've done is getting words mixed up. I once told older son that we were having fried fish, garlic paste and "window shutters" instead of "beetroots" for dinner. Without missing a beat, he said - Mom, I hope you boiled them well so we don't break a tooth or two. Oh, and another one was very embarrassing - luckily I said it to a female neighbour of mine. I was describing a new pair of pants I'd bought and I mixed up the vowels in two words. Instead of saying the fabric had a thin green stripe going through it, I said it had a "limp willie". Needless to say we laughed our heads off.

                            I concur, Molly.

I wish I'd had you lot as well as me counsellor.

Didn't matter what me session was like good or bad I used to get hammered afterwards.

I think I went into reward mode for actually getting through the session.
