Hello lovely people!

I haven't been around much (or much at all) - not because I fell into a bottle but because things are very busy here The barn building, spending time with the grand peanut and my remaining, lonely horse, puttering in the garden... oh, and then there's pesky work 'n all, too :H

The barn is coming along, slowly but surely... 3 out of 4 parts of the roof are done, water lines are in AND we have water now at the pasture (albeit run by generator until we get hydro in), back filling has begun, etc. etc.

Atlas and I are doing splendidly - he's adjusted to being on his own much better than I could have hoped for.

The peanut is growing much like the weeds in the garden - holy! I had him here for a couple of days on his own and I have to say, I am now ready to venture into pro wrestling. I don't remember my kids being THAT wiggly when it came time to get dressed or changed! :H

Anyhow... just thought I'd pop in and say hello... I hope you are all doing well and aren't drowning in rain like we are here Some summer! Hrmpfh!

G, would love some 'Peanut Pics!!' Yes, we do seem to forget what they're capable of, don't we? I had forgotten how long, sleepy, tiring the nights could be until we had about a 1/2 doz of mine for a few days. They'll fight sleep like a war of the worlds!!!

Thank you daaahling Yes, I am very loosely looking for another one. Preferably part draft, been there-done that- sorta horse for Mr. Wonderful. However, right now, Atlas is really doing extremely well on his own... so there's no rush. If nothing comes up, I'll just take in a boarder for the winter. I don't want the monkey to be alone all winter..but fort now, there's enough distraction for him (ahem.. as in ME! :H).. but winter time will be a different story
