Day 41
Day 41 af here and still fighting. I hanged out with some friends last night so I could get away from my brother. While there, there was a 30+ people that was there and they all drank a lot for the short time that they were there. But one thing I thought was that I was grateful not to be them. Riding bikes, then drinking 3 to 4 beers in an hour and a half, and then riding again. Being drunk/wasted is no fun especially on a bike. But I just stayed with my Sherry Temples (and a Dr. Pepper at the end of the night) and this morning I feel good. I am glad for myself not drinking last night or during the day. Just taking it a day at a time and for those who are struggling, hang in there! Things will get better and being AF will get easier and easier the longer that you stay AF.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.Tags: None
