It's up to 87F, hasn't rained here today (yet). Believe me, ya'll are getting the kind of weather we usually do here all summer. We had a 7 year drought a few years ago, the 2nd since we moved here, and it tore us up! Wells and cows going dry, that's when Southerners know they've got trouble. My brother married about 30 years ago on July 5, outside at my parents lake, and it was 106F. Of course, everything is growing (mostly grass) faster than we can keep up with it. I feel for all those suffering from this heat. Do you ever pass by a road crew laying new asphalt and just want to cry for them? I can't imagine that, or roofers putting new tar on roofs. That's some tough hombres.
