              Way to go Barbara! That is some great thinking. It's like leaving a controlling partner but still not having self confidence to go out and live a life we deserve.

              Sunni--I'm hanging in-thanks--honestly it's hard to shake these feelings when they hit me.

              Nora I hope your plants hang in there for you. Best to water early and later to give the best moisture. We can share pics of our beautiful flowers in a month.

                          Hey guys. Hope you had a great day. Busybusy, of course, but a wonderful day. We just had a HUGE thunderstorm, but lots of rain we needed. Temp was just at 90F before storm, about 74F now, and it smells wonderful outside. I've put up about 20 jars of pickles, both bread and butter and kosher, and have ton's more in mind to do. I love doing canning, even with Hubs in 'helping' me'!
                          Here are some pictures from daughter's community 4th of July parade. They have such an involved bunch of neighbors! SIL's firestation brought an engine to lead the parade, and Jack is the first kid in the pack, right behind the truck. Not pictured, there were about 20 adults in various wheeled, decorated vehicles (from scooters to trucks!) behind the kids. Tonight there will be fireworks over the lake, and Tip has her penpal of 30 years visiting with her fam right now.

                            Hi Peeps
                            Mama is home....we worked our fannies off and got paid....that was nice but Mom was sush a shrieking biatch that my brother packed up his gang and left.....Rubes my sweet SIL is a pediatrician in Atlanta.....isn;t your daughter one, too??
                            Dad looks great...done with chemo and hair just sprouting again..it was nice to get away from here for a few days....but back at it tomorrrow...
                            pretty flowers rc...I am trying some tomato seeds...we shall see
                            I think the pot and pig farm is a cool idea Rog

                                Making a lovely BBQ pork tenderloin, fresh squash and onion, corn on the cob, stewed tomatoes, BE peas, fresh cukes and onions, cornbread muffins, and homemade peach ice cream for dessert. The man has no idea how good he has it!!
                                Haven't had a ciggie since June 30! Of course I'm biting the heads off bolts and bats, but no smokes. ((sigh))
