Hello to all the flying loons.
Grateful, Nora and Fluff--this time of year seems to come with teen tragedies that sadly affect families and communities. I'm so sorry it happened in yours friends.
Ruby thanks for the vid--seen it before but needed it today. We can so easily get bogged down in pity parties that can keep is in a funk.
I had another good day in shop and went to a mindful meditation workshop tonight. It incorporated dance, mantras and mindful presence to clear and expand our mind, body and spirits. One of the best I've ever participated in. A bit wound up but good energy.

Good morning all, it is Friday ! I am finally done, the horrible drvieway repair / sealing job. What an endeavour. Oh well, it keeps the drive way together in my tough northern climate. I am starting to look forward to my family trip, we leave next week, going to Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City etc. Should be a lot of fun. I will get to visit a lot of family, and do lots of kids stuff along the way.
Ruby, thanks, I am feeling OK, just tired and sore. I will take a day of rest today I think.
Grateful, I am sorry for your loss. I am so glad my kids won't be driving for about 10 years.
Vicki, I am filing a protest. No fair. I want to be at that resort on the beach

Yesterday was a VERY bad day for cig cravings (I'm using lozenges, but sparingly because they make me jumpy). My breathing is already better, not coughing at all. My stomach doesn't hurt or fill so full as much. I was terrified I'd gain weight, but it's a week, and I actually lost a pound! I don't smell, and don't have buzzard breath, so I guess it's worth the torture. MUCH harder than AL tho, to me.
Off to doc in Hotlanta, dread the drive.
Kitties are no longer terrified, looking forward to their food (they actually left a little in the bowl last night!) so I have to look for a long term placement. They won't work out with Berit, and I don't won't to risk them.

You are working too much, but I guess it's good that you have a job. I strongly suggested to hubby that he get a job and give up his no income business, but he wasn't too thrilled with he idea! Roger, so good to see you. Are ya'll still house sitting for Sue's sister? MB, I pray that today is a better day for you and you can get some much deserved rest this weekend! Hill, it wasn't a resort. My brother has a condo on the beach. Unfortunately, it was only a 3 day trip, but I enjoyed the beach and NO GARDEN! I hope you and your family have a wonderful time on your trip. Ruby, I am SO proud of you making it a whole week without cigs and so happy you are already feeling better! I agree with you, giving up cigs is harder than giving up alcohol. Grateful, I am praying for you and Jeremy today. Well, did ANYONE watch my videos? If you missed them, they are on page 19, post # 182. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I may not be able to post until Monday cause we got kids coming in today and alot of cleaning and grocery shopping to do! I love you all so very much! Morning folks. Got to run (yes Sunni - I'm late :H). My nephew made it home from Afghanistan this morning. We are so happy. They live in Louisiana so don't get to see him in person but we saw the pics of his homecoming. Wonderful!!!
