I?ve been working some long hours at the office and I didn?t have the time to write, but I?ve been following up on all your posts and I just wanted to say that I?m here.

My sweet gorgeous Vicki (just absolutely loved that picture of yours on the balcony). I know that one drink you had, made you feel bad, but there?s no need for that honey. We have to be good and forgiving to ourselves. Besides, you are the one who reminds all of us to do just that. I remember in one of your posts you wrote:?whatever satan throws our way, is Jesus? way to make us stronger?. So, please, don?t let those guilt trips get you down and hold on to the wonderful time you had with your family. That chapter 2 is almost done, but you know, the closer I get to all that ugly part in my life, the harder it gets to write about it! But, thanks to you, I?m still trying, cause I know how liberating is going to be once I get it all out and share with all of you, my family! Hi Jan, good to know they caught that bastard! What kind of antidepressants did they prescribe for you? I know Effexor sucks.. I used to take it a couple of years back and it did give me a foggy feeling too.

Hey Sunshine, I just got word from Amazon today on that book both you and Fen suggested and they said they?re out of stock...! Can?t believe it took them so long just to tell me they are out of it..!! So, I went ahead and ordered it from a bookstore here that can get it for me. Hopefully, I?ll get it in a week. Oh, on your post about what I was doing staying up that late?? Well, it was the weekend and I was writing away? writing my chapter 2 and trying to get it all out. Thank you Effie, for your sweet post! I just type what flows out of my head, and I'm troubled today by my controlling Bro's criticism (and honestly, I know it's not deserved). SOOOoooo much involved in how we got here, and I do understand jealousy being a big part of it. As far as the lozenges, they make me a bit nervous. I have to take so many meds, I read everything, and might have been dealing with more psychological, you know. I've taken Chantix, and it's really GREAT for smoking craving, but it upsets my tummy, so mostly I'm (and Hubs!) toughing it out. I want a cig SOOOOOoooo bad, but I won't throw it all away again. Doc was very proud of me, but told me not to lose more weight. (couldn't believe THAT one!! :H). I've learned not to depend on anyone for my happiness, but to make my own, and I'm happy even if I'm really pissed with someone! Working hard on getting better, stronger, and that's enough. I'm trying hard too not to be unsettled by the inuendo in the messages I received. It would be SOOO wonderful if you ever could visit me. I know Greece is beautiful, would love to come there. My best (late) friend's parents were from Greece (Miltiades) and her daughter still stays close to us.
RC, be careful on that drive! I love your description of the awareness class, and I know it was great. But go be with your Dad, and keep in touch, OK? I know this is important for you.

PS: I think it?s awesome that your Daddy?s Mommy had the same name as me. All names in Greece actually come from a Saint and in the Greek Orthodox Church they baptize us after a Saint?s name ..! But, modern Greeks don?t want to be called by their baptized name?! Actually the name Effie is short for my baptized name which is?Eustathia? (pronounced ??youstathia? and it means ?stability?. Thought you might enjoy this little piece of information.

Went to bed SUPER early last night (driving, trips, wear me out, plus the doc triggered muscle spasms in my legs. He SAID it was to see changes, etc., but I think he's a Sadist!). So, I'm ready for what the day throws at me. Hope we have more check in today!
